http://www.nytimes.com/2016/09/29/us/politics/gary-johnson-aleppo-moment.html
Gary Johnson, the Libertarian Party candidate for president, could not name one single foreign leader when asked who his favorite was by the great Chris Matthews on MSNBC. I saw the segment and nearly choked on my lentil soup. The sad state of the American intellect is, to say the least, depressing. Besides interspersing 50 million "likes" in a sentence many cannot speak, write or think in complexity. Nor do many know the simplest facts about our government or of American history let alone world history. Simply stand on a corner in Anywhere, USA and ask the simplest questions about our system of government or of our historical past and one will be amazed at the blank stares one gets. How did it get to be this way? I do not know but we are populated by Gary Johnsons galore. Fortunately they are NOT running for president but he and another ignoramus named Trump are.
Weld should bow out to make sure Drumpf does not slide into the oval office. Johnson may be a nice guy who should be flipping burgers at McDonalds or working at Walmart but running for President of the United States I don't think so. Frankly, no Republican either in government or out has, in my opinion, the intellectual gravitas and the cajones to tell the truth about what they stand for. Republican Speaker Paul Ryan is, admittedly, a smart Republican but, truthfully, why is he in the this game? Answer: MONEY. He wants the top 1% to pay the least amount of taxes or even no taxes like Drumpf so he can make the most from them and he wants the lower classes to pay for the Capitol roof or the roof of his home over his head.
I'll go out on a limb here to say most Republicons could not care less about those who have the least but vote more goodies for those who have the most selling us trickle down fakenomics that chokes us. Will Ryan tell voters that? Of course not. He will role out the Phony Baloney Dog and Pony Show of how small government and deregulation of, for example, banking and environmental protection are so wonderful and overspending Democrats are so evil. It is the example of failed, cruel and abusive no taxes policy. All for me and nothing for anyone else. Then, surprise, there is lead in the water or sludge in Lake Superior. An ignorant populous buys it because it sounds so good BUT history shows their vision of government does not work. It does not work as this nation's no cure economic viral infections over decades from Harding to Bush have proven over and over and over again. The nation calls upon Democrats to pull it out of the economic sinkholes that deregulated laissez-faire capitalism from from Panics galore, to the Great Depression, the many Recessions and polluted waters it created.
The nation does the best when the middle classes do well and we all pay equitable taxes to run a nation. Government spending creates jobs which creates tax revenue and reduces the debt. Wars, by the way, are VERY expensive.
Gary Johnson cannot name a foreign nation's leader he likes but he wants to reduce government to the size of a Grover Norqustian postage stamp. Without regulation, free enterprise runs amok as it pollutes and poisons when it is economically advantageous for it to do so the rest of the nation be damned. So, okay Gary Johnson did not know he should have said Canadian Prime Minster Justin Trudeau (my pick), Germany's Angela Merkel, Australia 's Tony Abbott, Turnbull, or King Abdullah of Jordan. We could forgive him that but we cannot forgive that the Republican moral compass is broken and if Drumpf if elected the nation will not be able to find its way out of a paper bag!
This is a running commentary on contemporary social, political and religious issues. New York Times Brutally Subtweets Trump With Hitler Biography Review--NOT NOW NOT EVER
www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/nyt-hitler-review-trump_us_57ebecc9e4b024a52d2bf804?section=&
My comment: I hate, loathe and detest Trump. I cannot even look at the orange-faced orangutan without muting the TV every time he speaks because I cannot stand his ugly voice sniffing away. It nauseates me.
Having said all of that I am leery of all Hitler comparisons because there truthfully has not been a saturated with evil man like he yet. The difference in our nation is that no one will keep silent. If he so much as tried dragging someone off in a train to deportation he and his goons will face resistance.
I am Jewish. The worst thing about the Holocaust, in my opinion, is that Jews went to the slaughter pretty much without resistance. They had no guns. When they did resist like in the Warsaw Ghetto of Poland it proved effective because the Nazis did not expect it. Now, in our time in our Republic NO ONE but NO ONE will be carted off to the slaughter without receiving resistance times 10. It is a different time, a different place and a different people.
Moreover all this talk, in my opinion, will be moot as he is NOT going to take the presidency. People of color and Hispanics are enrolling to vote en masse and will NOT be denied. There are plenty of whites like me who stand with them side by side. It simply ain't gonna happen that this orangutan clown with his vile entourage will walk into the oval office... NEVER not now or not EVER!

The Pot Calling the Kettle
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/…/donald-trump-alicia-machado…&
Trump Doubles Down On Attacking Former Miss Universe's Weight
"We had a real problem with her," “She was the worst we ever had,” he said. “She was the winner, and she gained a massive amount of weight, and it was a real problem." He called her Miss Housekeeping because she was Latina
Alicia Machado the former Miss Venezuela and Miss Universe is lovely but that is not the issue. The issue is Trump is a beast with no character! What kind of man would say in front of millions of viewers or really in front of anyone that "We had a real problem with her," “She was the worst we ever had,” he said. “She was the winner, and she gained a massive amount of weight, and it was a real problem." He called her Miss Housekeeping because she was Latina?
Donald Trump has absolutely ZERO humanity and ZERO empathy. I hate that man more than I have ever hated anyone in the political sphere and there have been a number of disgusting know nothing politicos that have trod the path of deplorables but he, without question, to me, is, perhaps, one of the worst!
I will stoop to his level and say he is one of the ugliest men inside and out I have seen with his comb-over bleached orange hair. Not only is he ugly but he is hugely overweight. How about someone telling that jerk that fact and see how he likes it? He is truly the pot calling the kettle fat!
Poor Melania Trump in four years she will be 50. God forbid she gain any weight or her skin shows signs of aging or what if she becomes disabled from the ravages of disease? The serial philanderer Trump will trade her in for someone younger, skinnier and a healthy woman in a nanosecond as if a woman were just a car one can exchange for a new model.
What do his statements say to those of us who do not measure up to his Miss Universe standards? Should we retire from life, suffer from self-hatred and commit suicide or should we kick sand in the bully's face, fight back and not let him get away with hurling insults that pierce our psychological armor?
Donald Trump, you are truly the pot calling the kettle fat. I believe in justice and fair play. Trump has done many unjust egregious things to the less powerful among us. He is the consummate bully whose insults land as broken glass piercing our hearts. Sometimes, I believe in revenge toward the bully so that the weakest among us who is hurt by him becomes the most powerful and helps those who have been stymied by life's tragedies. That is justice.
Matthew 16:26 says "For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul?" Donald, you have forfeited your soul a long time ago. We need, as an electorate, to make sure he does not, through the presidency of this nation, gain the whole world.
A quick debate review--off the top--BABE RUTH
I was SO very sick with a cold/sinus infection but I did everything I could to watch it all while sneezing, coughing and using up boxes of Kleenex. I did watch the whole thing and 1/2 hour of the analysis. I wanted to kick that rude lying excuse for a human Trump. He is so sickening, so awful, so utterly VILE and a pathological liar. I knew Hillary had won big.
Hillary was EVERYTHING she should be. Most of all she was prepared while Trump wasted the day. She looked beautiful, strong, smiling and utterly put together. It was like watching Babe Ruth in comparison to youth little league. I was SO happy. I had the worst absolute worst rhino virus of my life but if I was on my death bed I would not have missed it.
He is the worst piece of humanity to ever sadly cross our political paths. The reviews are coming in very good for her I think. She was SO prepared, the consummate professional and when he ever said she did not have the stamina the audience even laughed -- 12 hours in front of the Benghazi Committee, travel to 126 countries, Secretary of State she helped to make major agreements that were solid agreements, had two terms in the Senate yeah right she had no stamina. He is an IDIOT!
Trump was ugly and the split screen did him NO justice. His facial expressions were off putting. The guy never smiled--never. He sounded nervous with a very dry mouth drinking water profusely and the lies kept piling up. Oh by the way what is with that sniff? He sounded at times like he needed an oxygen mask. Okay, I know it's a low blow but since he is the king of the low blows he deserves it.
Last I saw in the middle of the debate it was Trump 11 lies and Hillary 0. I rest my case.

A Day at the Office
The opinion by Doug Bandow at the link below is excellent in its brevity but wise in its scope. It makes a compelling case in precise fashion against eternal war waged by the US. I urge you to read it in view of our upcoming election and US policies of continual war and the Wharton Business School fantastic Trump's risk of beginning a nuclear one. My comments are below the link:

It is truly amazing the nations we have hit and/or invaded in a century or more of invasive war. Post WWII we have waged permanent war all around the globe most of which were unsuccessful and all to advance US interests and, oh yes, fed to us through the faux line of democratizing and freeing the nations we invade.
Yes, every nation state has interests but our invasions are exceptional -- what else for an exceptional nation, perpetual and never ending. Often it does not win friends nor influence people. Our geographical blessing has kept us free from invasion but has not saved us from nation state condemnation and rage of those we attack. People get angry when you drop bombs on their heads and kill those attending a wedding, family reception, friends that they love and not to be forgotten the innocent children who do not know the why of any of it or what collateral damage means.
60 Minutes last evening showed a segment on the growing threat of nuclear war especially between Putin's Russia and us. It gave us a snapshot of our nuclear arsenal and the planes that will drop the nuclear bombs. It was chilling enough to freeze the toes off a polar bear. Those interviewed talked about it like they were making a ham sandwich or taking you through a tour of a Fritos factory. It was, indeed, one of the most frightening 60 minute segments I have watched.
Oh yes, Russia is prepared to drop a nuke and we are surely prepared to drop one on them or two or three. Whatever we have, of course, Russia has more encouraging our military industrial complex to salivate and prompt a desire to add more to our arsenal making those who own those companies very very very rich;1% rich. Ho hum, just another day at the office.
The cavalier attitude of both nations to fight a nuclear war albeit a small one was bone chilling frightening. So let's keep up never ending war and see who will be first to drop the bomb and begin a cavalcade of mutual and global destruction. If climate change does not kill you then nukes surely will!
Sure, elect Donald Drumpf who knows nothing about anything and see how fast he can jet propel the globe into annihilative nuclear war. Since he asks so many questions about the nukes he knows nothing about one can almost be assured if, god forbid, he is elected to the presidency he will love to try a few out! You know, like a new car. Simply take it out for a spin and while he is at it take the planet and us out with it What a guy!

For Whom to vote or not to vote that is the question
It is beyond far beyond my comprehension how anyone who calls themselves human with a human big brain cannot see the CON in this Republican con man, Donald Trump. His corruption is so obvious if one is following the campaign it could hit one in one's face.
Hillary's emails pale by comparison to Trump's incessant lying, Foundation illegalities taking allegedly charitable money and pumping it in to personal purchases, Trump Corporation's foreign megga conflicts of interest vis a vie China, Russia and other hostile nation states. Add to it the fact that attorneys general will go after Trump for perjury with respect to the Jeb Bush attempted bribe to make Florida casino land. Bush did NOT bite and Trump got mad, had his henchman working on it but fell flat. Jeb Bush told the 100% truth on the Republican debate stage. Trump either flat out lied to Republicans in the primary debate or perjured himself in a deposition about it. Oh yes, one more thing that $20,000 alleged buck bribe to Florida Attorney General Bondi for her NOT to pursue the multiparty lawsuit against the allegedly fraudulent Trump University.
Think on the many blue collar workers who said they did not get paid for work on Trump's buildings and the plagiarism and alleged fraud of Trump Institute. It is mind exploding how anyone on planet earth USA would vote for such a liar, con man and fool. Think on the many authors and noteworthy persons who know him and have worked with him like the ghost writer of Trump's book "The Art of the Deal," Tony Schwartz, in his lengthy interview with the New Yorker said: "I helped to paint Trump as a vastly more appealing human being than he actually is. And I have no pride about that. ... I did it for the money. It's certainly weighed on me over the years. "Now, since he's ... in a position to potentially become president, it makes my decision back then look very different than it did at the time." "One of the chief things I'm concerned about is the limits of his attention span, which are as severe as any person I think I've ever met," Schwartz says. "No matter what question I asked, he would become impatient with it pretty quickly, and literally, from the very first time I sat down to start interviewing him, after about 10 or 15 minutes, he said, 'You know, I don't really wanna talk about this stuff, I'm not interested in it, I mean it's over, it's the past, I'm done with it, what else have you got?' "
Then there is what David Cay Johnson writes in his book "The Making of Trump." Johnson is an expert in tax law and has studied Trump for 30 years. He has little good to say and a lot of bad.
Finally, Trump's ever present taxes which would tell so much but he refuses to reveal them. An audit makes no difference he still could release them or at least release other tax returns from years where his taxes were final. If they proved him right he would reveal them but they do not and releasing them would nail him as the liar he is. He paid little to no taxes and made few charitable contributions of worth. I rest my case. For whom to vote? That's easy. Without question it should be Hillary Rodham Clinton.

What a President can do -- Thoughts on my good news--my shadow
I am rethinking my ebullience of
last night after listening to Rachel Maddow’s very hopeful unique summary of
election events. I begin to reflect and
the pessimism that has a front seat on my shoulder takes over the view. I begin to think I will look less than analytically
stellar if Republicans mount an effort on election day and God forbid win. The correctness of
my analytics means nothing but all of our futures do, indeed, mean something.
Before
Rachel’s show last night I listened to WGBH which had a segment that discussed
what would happen in a Trump presidency.
The damage that low life could do to our social fabric is heart
stopping. My heart sank. Trump, if elected, could do IMMENSE harm to
all the positive things those who, over centuries, were dedicated. Many gave their lives so justice could prevail.
All of the positive social change can be overturned in a near nanosecond
by a narcissistic always mendacious blob of humanity Trump who could occupy the
most powerful position in the world – the American presidency.
What could a
president Trump do especially if he carries a Republican Congress with him and
even if he doesn’t? Answer: TONS. Some things include the obliteration of the nuclear
deal with Iran which would allow Iran to immediately begin building nukes stopped
under the agreement. Iran directly has
stated just that. A president Trump
could change the face of SCOTUS backwards into prior centuries stopping a woman
from controlling her own body or gaining equal pay for equal work, nullify the world's climate change agreement, eradicating
the Affordable Care Act placing 20 million without health insurance, lowering an
already painfully low minimum wage, an immigration round up of 11 million human
beings many of whom built law abiding lives over decades having children born
here who are Constitutionally citizens,
building a wall costing billions to keep humanity out, and not allowing Muslims
to immigrate or Syrian and other Muslim refugees in at all. The policy on Muslims is particularly odious
since this nation began an Iraq War that resulted in the breakup of an entire
Middle East. The mayhem the Bush
presidency created by that war Trump SAID he was for and the horrific Syrian
Civil War we see today are ramifications of it.
We will close the doors to those people in desperate life and death situations
which in large part were created by our own malevolent war based on lies.
Moreover, The
Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget (a truly bipartisan group) came out
with their report saying Trump's revised economic plan would add $5.3 TRILLION
to our debt (his original program would have added more than $11 trillion),
while HRC will add only an additional 200 billion dollars to the budget and get
more bang for the buck because most of Hillary’s
increased spending will be paid for by higher taxes on the rich.
Trump has
already profited more than $8 million by charging expenses to his
campaign. He collects rent from
having his national HQ in the Trump Tower, charging for his plane and putting up
his entourage at Trump hotels. Yes, he
is the essence of unethical conduct and also the king of self-dealers. Self-dealing using other people’s money
gleaned from one’s own supposedly charitable foundation to pay one’s own bills is
illegal and Trump has done that.
If one looks
at it semi rationally (well I try) the Republican Party is in a shambles. It is split right down the middle and then
some. Many so called "establishment”
Republicans with all the power they enjoy will not vote for the crackpot
Trump and some will even vote Democratic. The Never Trumps meant exactly
that – Never Trump.
Hispanics by
Trump’s vow to round them up and persons of color who are witnessing an attempt
to shoot them down guilty or not are realizing hope resides only within the Democratic
Party. Third parties, in our time, are NOT
the vehicle to solidify social changes that have been earned over centuries through
blood, sweat and plenty of tears. I am
hoping what happened in Charlotte, North Carolina and Tulsa, Oklahoma will bring
out the black vote even though Obama is not on the ballot as their future is at
stake. Hillary Rodham Clinton will
expand human rights not curtail them and will ensure Obama’s legacy and not
obliterate it.
Yes, the
president can do immense damage to humanity hence my happy volcanic eruption
when I heard a positive assessment for Hillary. I
hope the happiness lasts and that shadow which sits on my shoulder does not
perfect a hostile takeover.

Holocaust II -- How many Trump wants to kick out -- 11 Million human beings--See my thoughts below the pic
My thoughts are below the pic.
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/ …/undocumented-immigrants-don…
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/
11.1 million, according to the most recent estimate.
My thoughts:
Forget all the stats and the rationale for this Nazi-like policy Trumpet thinks will go so swimmingly. Just how is one going to get 11 million rounded up and out of the country without those people you are doing that to AND I might add millions of others who support their cause (like I do) and think this is the most inhumane Nazi-like policy since the round up of Jews of Europe to the camps, resisting it. The estimate of Jews who died in Europe during that fateful time is now 11 million and NOT 6. 6 is an understatement. It is a HUGE amount of humanity.
For Germans of that era to round up all the Jews of Europe it took a MASSIVE attempt with a complicity of, as the historian Daniel Goldhagen put it, "Hitler's willing executioners." In other words not only must you get all that humanity rounded up you must have the let's call them the nativists of this nation to assist in the roundup.
Thank God I believe in this nation people ARE, as Anne Frank put it, basically good. It will be if attempted a blood bath not only of so called undocumented workers who will not go quietly into the night but those with a smidgen of morality who say NO to it as well.
I suspect Christian churches even many Fundamentalist Christians en masse will say NO as will most especially Jews and other minorities like Muslims, Hispanics, native Americans and many others in this nation who know what a round up of human beings means, have a hint of humanity and will rise up. There WILL be violence of that one can be assured that is IF Trumpet wins which I believe he will not because in the final analysis the rationality and humanity of the American people will, I surely hope, prevail. A people who fought a World War with hundreds of thousands of Americans dead will NOT enact Nazi-like policy and have that war mean nothing.

Think Again
If one thinks it does not matter who is elected president I would advise them to think again.
Historically review events and learn what one man can do to the nation and to the world. He/she (I will use the generic he) can plunge us both into war or he can plunge the nation and the world into a negotiated peace. The latter, of course, is much more difficult. It is easy to drop bombs to resolve disputes as this nation has dropped many of them but it is much harder to pick up the pieces after the bombs have dropped. As Colin Powell famously said of Iraq "If you break it you own it." The president can, through his advisors, negotiate to avoid the possibility of war or even, perish the thought, nuclear war and through his advisors can avoid all the destruction, mayhem and death war inevitably brings but it is the Commander-in-Chief--the President--who will make the final decision since Congress has not done its Constitutional duty in a very long time. War can last, as Iraq II surely shows, and it can last a very long time costing thousands of lives and trillions in treasure.
The profound effect the American presidency has on all of mankind is, in our common era and before, staggering. The selection of a president is serious, perhaps, even the most serious thing one can do in one's lifetime because it is life bestowing and/or it is a life taking choice. It can mean the life and death of you, your children, your grandchildren and beyond. It is why you must make altogether sure that the president selected can calmly and coolly occupy an office not only able to take that 3:00 a.m. phone call but to take all calls in an office that does not lend itself to calmness and serenity. The office of the American presidency has by its very nature life and death global consequences.
Historical examples: Think on World War II. Think on the volcanic destruction of it, the refugees, the death camps, the Hiroshima and Nagasaki nuclear bombs dropped and ask what if FDR had not made the choices he did and Germany won that war? I, a Jew, would not be writing this today. All of Europe and perhaps even you would be marching to totalitarian jackboots. What if a North Korea threatened to drop a nuclear bomb on us today? What would it take for the president to act calmly if such an event threatened? Jack Kennedy during the 1962 Cuban missile crisis knew how close this nation came to nuclear war. It took a man who was willing to act against the advice of his generals to avoid the potential catastrophe. We live today because of the coolness of Jack Kennedy. I can assure you Donald J. Trump is NO Jack Kennedy but the coolness, steadiness and vast foreign policy experience of Hillary Clinton says that she is. War and nuclear war is not a Trump Tower or golf course business deal nor will it conform to the contents of Trump's ghost written book "The Art of the Deal." War and the avoidance of war is serious business for those who are experienced at that business.
Iraq II has been assessed by some foreign policy experts to be the worst foreign policy blunder in US history made by a president "elected" under questionable circumstances who had neither the knowledge nor the savvy and skill to wage such a war after the destruction of the World Trade Center. He waged war, dropped thousands of tonnage of bombs on a nation that did nothing to us, created civil war in that country, created Al Qaeda in Iraq never there before which created its offshoot ISIS. War continues to this day as our 13 year slog is not over yet. Iraq II fractured a Middle East creating never ending civil war and changed the course of global history. It created the Middle East refugees we encounter today and this nation still cannot put Humpty Dumpty back together again if it ever will. The consequences of Iraq have been enormous. We have one candidate, Trump, who is trigger finger happy and wants to shoot from the hip to easily (he thinks) obliterate the problem. That will never happen because our nation is not alone in this fight and has angered many in that Middle East arena causing a cacophony of complexity. This nation will NEVER obliterate the problem certainly not by, god forbid, the naivete of a Trump presidency.
When you vote for president and before you pull the lever for a thin skinned con and bombastic bully that is named Trump choose wisely by choosing the most experienced, the most competent, the most calm and collected person for that office. I believe there can be no doubt your choice should be Hillary Rodham Clinton.
If you think it matters not who one votes into the office of the American presidency think again. The life you save may truly be your own.

Profiling Donald Trump -- Who are we?
The malevolent Trump advocates profiling. Would YOU like to be profiled? Would you want your children to be profiled? Would I want to be profiled because I may, for example, look Middle Eastern or wear a hijab, the head covering for some Muslim women.
If one could time travel back to the era of WWII, I aver Trump would himself be one to be profiled as he looks so German and his right wing views are so extreme. He, like the American aviation hero Charles Lindbergh of that time, may have cheered what was happening in Germany and like Trump does now wanted to keep America First. I think he could have been followed during that dangerous time. How would he have liked it? The state can profile anyone even one who has done nothing wrong.
Diversity is our strength. The danger, and our Founders knew it, is the power of the state to do nearly anything it wants no matter how intimidating or brutal and to do so on a whim albeit profiling someone if the state thinks that someone looks dangerous. The state has that power. Our Founders' goal in constructing our republic, I think, was to restrain the power of the state and to empower the individual with certain rights that put a check on the state as to what it can or cannot do to deem and detain someone who may be thought to dangerous or be guilty of a crime he may not have committed. The worry is for the state to be able to apprehend and do whatever it wants because it has the power to use force against those who may and most especially MAY NOT be guilty of anything simply because the state can.
The danger here is rounding up those who are guilty of no crime merely because they look like they could be or are of a race, religion and culture that is not accepted by the majority. Charging, punishing and jailing those who have committed no crime is the greatest fear. THAT is our challenge and that is what some groups face merely because they were born into a certain group that is different from the majority or which the majority does not approve. We must NOT empower the state to do this no matter how imperiled the time in which we live. We must obey those Constitutional civil liberties our Founders emblazoned into our national holy grail. These rights are accorded to each individual even when it is the most difficult to observe those rights.
One cannot help those ascribed statuses into which one was born and may give him great disadvantage because the majority can impugn to him or her apriori guilt with no evidence and therefore no proof. The first 10 Amendments to our Constitution or the Bill of Rights are our greatest strength. Let us not lose that as Franklin Roosevelt so brilliantly said in his First Inaugural Address because "The only thing we have to fear is fear itself, nameless, unreasoning, unjustified terror which paralyzes ... ." Even Donald Trump deserves those rights. Profiling anyone even Donald Trump and even if another democratic nation does it should be verboten even in our dangerous time lest we lose the essence of who we are.

Dr. Wizard of Oz
Guess what? Dr. Oz is a Muslim -- a secular one but a Muslim nonetheless. When hate groups attack, and there has been an abundance of attacks against Muslims, also Jews, gays, Hispanics and others around the nation, the attackers do not care if you are an observant Muslim or an observant Jew or not.
This is a fabulous article posted below. It is sickening that this is happening, of course, in our nation of immigrants and this rotten-to-the-core syrup of Ipecac requiring right wingnut Nazi type white supremacist part of Trump's base is having a field day supporting him and attacking others!! Not only are Muslims at risk but so are guess who? Jews, Hispanics, gays and of course persons of color but Drumpf's supporters who may not be violent do not get it.
We SHOULD here and around the nation VOTE in November in droves for Hillary Rodham Clinton who is the opposite of hate. The theme of her campaign says we are "stronger together" and I believe this to be true.

Explosion rocks Chelsea District in New York City
One should remember the Chelsea District in NYC is a gay district near Greenwich Village. Can you say White Nationalists as possibly responsible? I am not saying definitively but but simply saying generally right WINGnut vicious racists, nationalists, anti-Semitic and homophobic hate that can be responsible too. Do not automatically think ISIS terrorism. We have our own terrorists under the Alt Right Nationalist banner those who enthusiastically support Donald Trump.
Donald Trump's right is as violent, hate infused, racist, sexist and generally vicious as any other group and was responsible for the Oklahoma City bombing, Waco, Texas standoff and many other violent episodes throughout the nation!

The Retraction
The retraction of Donald Trump's birther views that the president of the United States was not born here is now the pivotal point of the downward trajectory of the worst candidate for the presidency in the history of this nation. He did NOT end the birther debate that he began. He did NOT finish it. His many many many lies beyond the birther egregious lie are now sealed into his book of life for the ages of history to judge. One thing will be true. Donald J. Trump will NEVER be president of the United States.
Lies and Videotape
Donald Trump cannot tell one truth without following it up with a lie. It is a wonder of psychology that his brain is wired the way it is.
He told the truth FINALLY after five years beginning the "birther" movement that Barack Obama, indeed, was born in the United States and therefore is the legitimate president of the nation. We breathed a sigh of collective relief that finally the grand high exalted master and wizard of us all gave credence to our duly elected president. But he followed it up with a lie. He said that Hillary Clinton began the "birther" movement.
Can this sick, disgusting bag of deplorable humanity be for real? He wants us to believe that the woman, critical from day one that anyone would question the president's legitimacy, in fact, gave birth to the birther movement? It is a LIE of grandiose proportions that while he told the truth that the president was born in this country at the same time LIED that Hillary began the sickening birther meme. There are lies but there is videotape to prove he lies. What is this human mass of putrid verbiage named Trump? From underneath what rock was he hatched? Why were we cursed to have him among us?
I am NOT kidding when I say he MUST MUST MUST be defeated by CRUSHING him on November 8 so that on November 9 Hillary Rodham Clinton, light years more qualified and intellectually ready than the liar-in-chief, Donald Trump, to be president of the United States will be. If and when she is elected and I think ultimately she will be, FINALLY FINALLY we and humankind around the world can, hopefully, breathe a monumental sigh of relief!
GET OUT THE DEMOCRATIC VOTE AND SAVE THE NATION FROM THIS CRETAN WHO MUST HAVE COME FROM THE DEPTHS OF THE SEA!

But the orange Cretan accuses HRC as starting the birther rumor. UTTERLY RIDICULOUS. THIS IS THE KIND OF VILE SLIME THIS GUY IS. WHAT IS WRONG WITH HIM? HE IS UTTERLY MENTALLY DERANGED.
The birther bulls&^% was started LONG before Hillary. Bachmann used it as did many others in the extremist right and the so called Alt Right segment of the Republican Party!
It is yet ANOTHER preposterous lie among an entire campaign of lies that Trump has spit out.

Sociopath
Yesterday
that mental blowhard Trump went to Flint, Michigan allegedly to find out how
they were ameliorating the horror of lead in their water perpetrated by the
Republican Governor Snyder. Trump took
the podium in a black church and began in front of few to talk NOT about the most salient Flint
lead-in-the-water eradication project but rather talked about how horrible
Hillary engineered the economy! Is this
know nothing serious? What did Hillary have
to do with the economy as a solitary senator or Secretary of State that this
liar-in-chief thinks she completely failed to fix? The female black pastor of that church ended Trump’s
talk nicely telling him to not wax political.
He meekly agreed and snakely slithered away. It was nice to watch.
It’s the
economy, stupid? I think not but I do think Trump is, in truth, stupid. No, I do NOT think he is as smart as he puffs
himself up to be. In business he has
encountered at least 6 bankruptcies while stiffing his construction workers of
their pay. His main talent is that he
knows how to con better than a Harold Hill of “Music Man” fame or the religious
huckster Elmer Gantry. He made some
money by dodging and weaving tax law, making use of bankruptcy law and not
paying his workers what they earned. The
entertainer, Trump, has entertained well.
We need, obviously for him to put
out his taxes which he refuses to do so that we may see the extent of the wool
he has pulled over some not so bright eyes.
Yes, I am
sickened that the rancid, mean, rude, crude vitriolic, lying blowhard con man
that is Trump sometimes is ahead of Hillary in some swing states and that the election
is this close. With all of Hillary’s
experience and all the fabricated issues the Republicans have used against her,
costing the taxpayer millions, and which she has weathered so well she should
be double digits ahead against the most deplorable know nothing candidate to
ever have historically run for the presidency.
I will
though look at the glass half full.
Hillary still leads nationally and most of the present polls against
her, I believe, have little merit. Obviously,
coming down with a case of pneumonia in the most important phase of her
campaign taking her off the trail for four days is not, for her, a plus. Add to that the totally unnecessary health
frenzy surrounding it by the army of Trump which played into the Alex Jones School
of Conspiratorial Lunacy and the media's unnecessary obsession with her health
skewed the polls in Trump's favor. Few
called out the Dr. Oz circus tactics of Trump’s own health letter role out.
If Hillary
returns from her short sick leave today and IF, god forbid (yes, I pray now,
too,) no relapses occur to add to the crackpot rightwingnut health conspiracies
AND if she can fend off the know nothing bully that is Trump in the debates
then I think she will recapture much of what she lost. The 26th of September debate SHOULD I say a
cautious SHOULD put it away for her barring Trump usurping the stage with his
ever growing insulting big mouth.
From Trump's
fake health letter by his gastroenterologist which my own personal opinion says
is in Trumpian style and that Trump wrote it having his gastroenterologist sign
it to yelling inanely about Hillary tanking the economy and failing at everything, the
Republican presidential candidate is a nut job menace. All his foreign business
entanglements some with adversarial regimes, Middle East precarious allies and
even dealings with criminals puts him and us, if he becomes president, in the
cross hairs of madness. Trump is a sick
narcissist as the illegal purchasing of the 6 foot painting of himself with
Trump Foundation money can attest. An
author (name unknown) wrote a book about Trump entitled
"Sociopath." I think that says
it all.

"How the Trump Organization's Foreign Business Ties Could Upend U.S. National Security"
This is the article from "Newsweek" many have been waiting for written by Kurt Eichenwald about Donald Trump's spider's web nest some with allegedly criminal connections of international business interest that could upend our nation's national security. Larry O'Donnell and Rachel Maddow reported the first news of it in part last evening. Here is the rest of it. If you know any one who has the remotest thought of voting for this charlatan, blowhard, lying, immoral LITTLE man Trump you should forward this to them and to all you think should know this before it is too late!

Harry Reid mocks Trump's health -- Reid is 100% correct --Tevya said it best
Article printed below my comment:
Reid is 100% correct. If it were Hillary that had all his egregious suspect transactions they would be hammering and crushing her flat. Clearly there is a double standard. The problem is there is SO much suspicious associated with Trump (see "Newsweek" article out today "In the Company of Trump") from his health to his less than pristine business record of bankruptcies, fraudulent business practices and in the Bondi case an allegedly egregious in your face quid pro quo illegality. There is so much he says and does that is outrageous and would get another candidate thrown out of the race on their face but he, because of his flamboyance and APPEARANCE of wealth, gets away with it. Tevya from "Fiddler on the Roof" said it best: "When you're rich they think you really know." In Trump's case he doesn't.

The Play's the Thing
Yes, Shakespeare's words from "Hamlet" "The play's the thing" reverberated in my ears when I waxed thoughtful after we had seen a theater performance of "Alabama Story" at the WHAT Theater in Wellfleet on Cape Cod.
The Date of the play: 1959; The place: A library in Montgomery, Alabama; the social setting: after the Rosa Parks Montgomery Bus Boycott; the subject: a children's book, "The Rabbit's Wedding," about two rabbits -- one black and one white who marry which was illustrated by the author of the book not to make a racial statement but rather because black and white provided contrast so children could understand which rabbit was which when they married. It was, by all measure, an innocent children's book that, not surprisingly for the time, evoked hysteria among whites in the deep south who wanted it pulled as they interpreted it through their own unsurprising racist prism.
The acting was superb. Among the characters were one young, blond, white woman who sat on a "whites only" bus-stop bench, a black man who loved her, a librarian who was flummoxed by the racial animus over a children's book in her library and a large Cat-on-a-Hot-Tin-Roof Big Daddy white senator who held his white, southern, Confederate flag heritage like a badge of honor to his breast.
More details of the story I think are unnecessary to uncork the rationale behind what it said at least what it said to me. Where does this story come from? From what depths of the sea does it emerge that one hundred years after the Civil War was lost by the south the same prejudice and discrimination that began it through slavery gave birth to Jim Crow at that time? The question for our ears now is one which Justice Roberts said when the Court in their infinite wisdom watered down the 1964 Voting Rights Act. He said we are in a post racial time.
Really, Justice Roberts, really? After our cities still burn with black rage, lead-saturated water fouled in a black neighborhood of Flint, Michigan, black men killed for selling loosie cigarettes or killed for walking in an area with a package of Skittles for merely being black. The officers or those who kill them are often exonerated and the black prison population explodes in the business of private prisons. There are so many more examples of that to make one's head spin.
Where is Montgomery now and who is Montgomery now? Montgomery is here and we are, all of us, Montgomery now. It is no accident that the Donald Trump campaign carries with it a heavy dose of white nationalism, Ku Klux Klan support, and Confederate flag sympathy. It is no accident that Donald Trump's audiences are almost 100% white with an occasional black trot-out to show how egalitarian he is. It is no accident that Donald Trump speaks in almost exclusively white forums sometimes on black issues and it is no accident that his goons assault black protesters at his deplorable rallies.
There is a reason the once Grand High Exalted Wizard of the Ku Klux Klan, David Duke, explodes in ebullient praise of Donald Trump. The black man knows when Donald Trump says make America great again he surreptitiously does not mean it is about him.
The arc of slavery runs deep within the American blood stream and has grown a cancer on its soul despite all the changes in race relations where its persons of color are concerned. It is so difficult, we can see, to erase the indelible racist ink from our clothing's seemingly permanent stain.
How do we do this? I do not know. Yet we MUST do this and the way to do this is not through the authoritarian discords, minority group roundups, Muslim keep-outs and other swindles and cons a Donald Carnival Barker Trump can exude. The way, rather, it seems to me, is through understanding and the ability to truly walk in another's shoes. We must do this together and do this now or, as our wise Founder Benjamin Franklin said to the revolutionaries of his time and pertinent, I think, to ours: "We must indeed all hang together, or most assuredly we shall all hang separately."

September 11 -- DASTARDLY AND DEPLORABLE
It is September 11. Today marks the 15th anniversary that our nation was so dastardly attacked by the most severe assault in this country's history. We should all, one would think, stand together but, alas, we could not be farther apart and we are still,15 years later, at 9/11 war.
I am sad for September 11 and sadder still for our very divided, angry and violent nation. What has changed since then? Some things have for the better changed but much has gotten worse!
Hillary now is being criticized especially by the Republican monster candidate Trump that she erred and insulted those who support him because she said many were "utterly deplorable." She walked back only the scope to which she refereed but not the content.
I, of course, think Secretary Clinton utterly correct because Trump is SO egregious, so insulting and so rude to so many, including in his own Party, it is the height of hypocrisy to accuse her of so little when he has perpetrated so much. The unjust, insulting and untrue comments this Cretan Republican has made against the innocent staggers the mind. The things he has said, if Hillary had said them, would be a game killer for her.
She said something about the human content of his campaign that is in fact true. His campaign IS loaded with DEPLORABLES. It composes, even in its hierarchy, right wing extremists reflected by the KKK who love him, white nationalists, Breitbart dirty tricksters, antiSemites, Duck Dynasty stupids and those who would do anything, even if illegal, to win,
Trump has made huge assaults against his own ally Republicans like "captured McCain" that are, in fact, deplorable assaults but he gets away with them. Trump's entire campaign is a never ending deplorable that concentrates on sensational superficiality but never on the particularities of the issues because he knows NOTHING about them.
It is a revolting, dastardly and deplorable development in which we the people and the electorate find ourselves. This deplorable ugly American, Trump, MUST be crushed or he will crush the nation and take us down with him!

CLINTON GETS REAL: ‘BASKET OF DEPLORABLES’ BEHIND TRUMP
She is catching heat from the Trump campaign naturally
from Kelly Ann Conway. Funny how this seeming saccharine Trump
spokesperson does not get what Secretary Clinton said.
Hillary Clitnon is 100% correct. I COMPLETELY AGREE. Trump's supporters ARE a basket of deplorables that include the KKK, white supremacists, Anti Semites, homophobes, anti-Muslim, anti persons of color and Duck Dynasty just plain violent morons.
He said he loves the uneducated and that is who he got so ARE they deplorable? YES, MANY are!

CNN caught rigging its polling methodology to falsely claim Donald Trump is beating Hillary Clinton. Why am I NOT surprised?
Shame on you CNN and any other cable news that puts across faux statistics!
Dailey News:
CNN and other cable news networks have spent weeks reporting that the race between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump has been “tightening” – even though there has been little to no evidence in the polling averages of any such tightening – in an apparent attempt to keep their audiences tuned in even as the election grows potentially stale. Now, in an belated effort at legitimizing its invented narrative, CNN has produced a new poll which shows Trump suddenly catapulting into the lead for no apparent reason. But an analysis of CNN’s changes to its polling methodology reveals that it’s a rather blatant fraud.
Recent elections have shown that seven percent more registered Democrats tend to vote than registered Republicans, even if they don’t always vote for the party they’re registered to. That means pollsters must decide whether to sample seven percent more registered Democrats in an attempt at getting the most realistic result, or to simply sample both parties equally under the assumption that they’ll end up showing up in equal proportion. But as it turns out, CNN did neither with its poll: it’s suddenly sampling four percent more registered Republicans than Democrats.
CNN has provided no reason for its sudden jarring change in methodology, which goes against everything that’s known about the national voting base. In fact NBC News studied the changes and concluded that CNN has no reasonable justification for deciding to begin sampling what it calls “an electorate we’ve never seen before.” When even the usually false-equivocating Chuck Todd of NBC is taking a stand against CNN’s bizarre rigging of its own poll, it stands out as being particularly blatant.
Although NBC News was polite enough not to say it in exact words, I will: CNN purposely rigged the methodology of its own poll in order to produce a result that’s in line with the supposed “tightening” that it’s spent the past few weeks falsely reporting on. When you back out the rigging in the CNN poll and re-sample it using a method that’s generally considered valid by professional pollsters, the actual result of the CNN poll appears to show that Hillary Clinton is leading Donald Trump by four points, which is just slightly below the overall polling averages. In other words, nothing to see here, beyond the question of how much CNN may have hurt its own reputation with such a stunt. By releasing phony new poll numbers which fit its preferred narrative, CNN has succeeded in convincing its own most loyal viewers that its ongoing claim of a “tightening” race are indeed valid, thus keeping them glued to the set in suspense – and it’s generated quite a bit of outside attention for the network as observers try to figure out what to make of the shocking (and ultimately fictional) revelation that Trump somehow came out of nowhere and climbed into the national lead. But it’s just the latest reminder that cable news is the lowest of all news formats, the least accurate and the most willing to willfully mislead its audience, and that even network TV news is more willing to draw the line.

Trump Lies and Matt Lauer
I have not
liked Matt Lauer or even the Today Show, in general, for a long time. It is mostly a silly saccharine entertainment
show while the nation is politically on life support.
It is a far cry from its beginning in the days of Dave Garroway who used
to sign off the show by saying "peace." Matt Lauer, like much in the faux news
business, I believe, is a corporate shill and was so during the Foreign Policy
Forum of the presidential candidates. I
suspect he went Trump light because the entertainment value (and that is all
Trump is) of Trump must be protected so he will agree to be "interviewed"
on the Today Show and attract viewers. It’s
all about the money, of course, except our LIVES are at stake if this con man
walks into the oval office. It would
truly be, in Trump's words, a DISASTER. Lauer
had a moral obligation to walk Trump back from the lies he said like he did not
support the Iraq War from the beginning.
He did support it from the beginning and he is ON TAPE saying so.
The lying bucket of orange swill, Trump, gets away with ALL of his lies. Trump
is one big con as Romney said. I was no
Romney supporter but he was 100% right on Trump. Matt Lauer had the obligation to we the
people to nail Trump on every lie.
3/4 of the
things or more that Trump says are lies.
He says he gave money to 9/11 victims but there is NO evidence of
that. He allegedly knew
"hundreds" who died on 9/11 but there was NO evidence of that either. What funerals of the victims did he attend? --
Answer: We know of NONE! He said he saw from Trump Tower people
jumping out of the Trade Center buildings when the Trade Towers would NEVER be within
proximal eyesight of Trump Tower. Those
jumping out of buildings were barely visible to those who were closer to them.
He lied when he said he could see hundreds of Muslims cheering as the Towers
fell. None he claims to have seen was
cheering. That was a dastardly lie alienating
half the world.
Although, he
did give a $25,000 dollar contribution from his charity, Trump Foundation,
wholly illegal, to the campaign of Republican Pam Bondi AG of Florida. Directly after that she dropped joining as a
group plaintiff in the lawsuit against Trump University fraud and they bold
face lied about it including Bondi who said the claim is outrageous. It is NOT outrageous and should be
investigated. The quid pro quo of that gift begs investigation and to again use a
Trump phrase “many others believe it too.”
The same quid pro quo allegedly
occurred in Texas. They dropped the
prosecution of Trump University after the AG in Texas received a contribution
from Trump.
Trump’s
campaign is one big lie including how many bankruptcies he has filed, how much
he is worth, what his taxes are, the fraud of Trump Institute, stiffing his
workers including recently Republican policy wonks that left his campaign allegedly
on masse claiming they were not paid. Surprise,
Republicans want to be paid! Last but not least his love affair with Putin is money-driven conflict of interest suspect.
According to
the Washington Post “USA Today tallied the number of lawsuits Trump had been in
over the course of his career. It figured the number topped 4,000 since 1976 —
an average of 100 lawsuits a year. Of
the lawsuits in which Trump has been involved, though, few are so perfectly
Trump-y as the lawsuit filed AGAINST Trump's campaign by the USA Freedom Kids,”
the group of three very young adorable patriotic girls dressed in patriotic
garb who sang at Trump rallies in Pensacola, Fla., this year. They claim he agreed to pay them but didn’t.
Story: USA Freedom Kids v. Donald J.
Trump for President Inc. posted below.
Trump lies
and he lies ALL the time. It is the
moral obligation of the press, including Matt Lauer, to put a microscope to the
lies and to CALL THE CRETAN TRUMP OUT on all of them.

Homo Sapiens -- a Short Note on the Forum
Hillary Clinton did SPECTACULARLY last evening at the foreign policy forum. I believe, or at least I hope, it is portents of things to come. She can field the most difficult questions stunningly well. The ONLY thing of which she must beware is Trump's penchant for interrupting blabber, lies and insult appellations. I suspect she is much too seasoned a politician to let that unnerve her. Insults and critiques WILL unnerve him, however, and that is when the Cobra can strike him. He loses control easily. I can tell by his body language errr I mean thin skinned facial language. Color him BEET red. Nervous much Herr Drumph?
I cannot wait until September 26 for the first debate IF he shows up. I WANT HER TO CRUSH him. He is a lying, mean, malevolent excuse for a human being. He gives our species, homo sapiens (Latin for wise man), a bad name. How about in his case changing it to homo stultissimus -- Latin for VERY stupid man.

Tap Dancing -- Foreign Policy Forum
How anyone on this planet could have viewed this Forum and listened to both candidates on foreign policy could not come away truly believing that Hillary Rodham Clinton is a phenomenal expert with phenomenal experience that makes her phenomenally more capable of handling the complexities of the American presidency than Donald J. Trump or anyone else for that matter, is beyond me. Gary Johnson, the Libertarian candidate, was asked on Morning Joe a question on Aleppo and did not know what or where it was. For those who may not know since few I suspect pay close attention to the Syrian civil war, it is a battle the Syrians have been waging against rebel forces destroying that town, creating hundreds of thousands of dead including women and children, thousands more wounded and millions of refugees fleeing a city of no infrastructure creating a refugee crisis like none other which, in the end, affects the west. It is a tragedy of monumental proportions and Gary Johnson not knowing what Aleppo is proves conclusively that he is NOT ready for prime time either as Donald J. Trump is not. Hillary seemed cool, calm and collected. She answered questions with authority because she has experience for a job that requires much experience. She made me proud to have been supporting her since day one of the campaign.
Trump's face was beet red which made him seem nervous and answered questions, of course, in generalities that is his same modus operandi during his campaign. There is no question to me that the focus of the media on Clinton's email has been extraordinarily over done. They do not concentrate on her every campaign appearance as they do Trump probably because Trump's histrionics are more interesting to the average American viewer who often eschews policy depth. Depth though is understatedly important. Hillary Clinton has a plethora of policy depth and showed it last night. If she could not complete the answer due to time constraints she referred listeners to her web site which contains even more of it.
One hopes that the media will focus on Trump's erroneous and weak responses that show much bluster but little else. Moreover, he committed an egregious sin with respect to his State Department briefings he now gets. He revealed his own perception of those who are briefing him by saying their body language and they spoke to the fact that the administration is not taking their expert opinions seriously. He is supposed to say NOTHING that transpires with them but forgot that rule which is why Trump can be trusted with nothing. His policies wax and wane by the hour. The fact that Matt Lauer did not press him on his support for the Iraq War in 2003 and beyond many times proves how inept the press is when it comes to the interrogation of Trump. He was caught in another lie but Matt Lauer said nothing. This is another instance of the press not adequately hold Trump's feet to the fire no matter how fast he tap dances around the questions.
It was an interesting format proving yet again the superiority of Hillary Rodham Clinton as if one needed any more proof as it proved Donald J. Trump utterly, totally and completely UNFIT for the job.
VOTE HILLARY RODHAM CLINTON AS IF YOUR LIFE DEPENDS UPON IT BECAUSE IT DOES!

"Donald Trump Does Detroit" by NYT editorialist Charles Blow
So, after weeks of preaching his sinister sermon of black pathology to mostly white audiences as part of his utterly fake “black outreach” — which is in fact the effort of a bigot to disguise his bigotry — Donald Trump finally brought his message before a few mostly black audiences.
He spoke Friday to a handful of African-Americans in North Philadelphia, and as described on philly.com, told them that “he is not a bigot, and blamed the media for portraying him that way, according to people who attended a private event.”
No sir, stop right there. We are not going to allow any deflection or redefining of words here. You are a bigot. That is not a media narrative or a fairy tale. That is an absolute truth. No one manufactured your bigotry; you manifested it.
You have proudly brandished your abrasiveness, and now you want to whine and moan about your own abrasions. Not this day. Not the next day. Not ever. You will never shake the essence of yourself. Your soul is dark, your character corrupt. You are a reprobate and a charlatan who has ridden a wave of intolerance to its crest.
You were a chief birther against President Obama. You have maligned Mexicans and slandered Muslims. You have treated women with disdain. You have mocked the handicapped. You have displayed a staggering lack of basic knowledge about governance. You have applauded dictators. You have encouraged the assault of protesters at your rallies.
You are a prime example of the worst of humanity. You are what happens when incuriosity meets intolerance.
You are not to be praised for your fourth quarter outreach, but reviled for it, because it contains contempt, not contrition Trump wants to demonstrate to white moderates that he’s not a dyed-in-the-wool racist and to demonstrate to his base that he’s unafraid to walk through the valley of the shadow.
Then on Saturday, Trump traveled to Detroit and visited with a church congregation, or at least with a fraction of that congregation, judging from an image of the nearly empty venue.
Before Trump read his remarks, he said, “I just wrote this the other day knowing that I would be here, and I mean it from the heart he said, “I just wrote this the other day knowing that I would be here, and I mean it from the heart.”
That’s the first thing that sounded like a lie. The New York Times reported last week that Trump’s advisers had gotten the questions Trump was supposed to answer during an interview in Detroit and prepared a script for him. What makes us think that they didn’t also write his pandering speech?
He told the gathering, “Our nation is too divided,” while not acknowledging that he is a principle source of that division. He said: “We talk past each other, not to each other. Those who seek office do not do enough to step into the community and learn what is going on.” And yet he never acknowledged that until now, when his poll numbers have dipped and worrisome numbers of people said they believed he appeals to racism and bigotry, he has avoided coming into the black community like one might avoid the plague.
The speech was feather-light on policy, but what was there was just repackaged Republican claptrap that reinforced negative perceptions about liberalism and blackness.
Trump said, “I believe we need a civil rights agenda of our time, one that ensures the rights to a great education and the right to live in safety and in peace and to have a really, really great job, a good-paying job, and one that you love to go to every morning.”
Translation: I want to further weaken public education through more charters and vouchers. I want to flood your neighborhoods with more police because you can’t control yourselves. I want you to stop freeloading, get off welfare, and get a job.
Everything about this spectacle was offensive: that a black pastor had invited this money changer into the temple to defile it; that Trump was once again using the objects of his aggression for a last-ditch photo-op; that news media continue to call this an “outreach to black voters,” when it’s clearly not.
Trump has no real chance in Detroit, and he knows it. During this year’s Michigan primary, Trump got just 1,679 of the total 132,602 votes cast in the city of Detroit.
But again, the citizens of Detroit — or black people in general — are not the intended audience for this pageant of perversity. You can’t earnestly court the black vote while at the same time your party is enacting laws in multiple states to suppress the black vote. The whole thing is a logical fallacy.
Trump closed his speech in Detroit by quoting a passage from First John, Chapter 4 in the Bible: “No one has ever seen God but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us.”
I too would like to close by quoting a passage from 1 John 4: “Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.”
Everything about Trump reads to me as false, and I hope that on Election Day, America exercises the gift of discernment.

Trumpettes (Children of Trump)
For the life of me I cannot understand the thought processes of the children of demagogues -- children of truly sick, narcissistic, and cruel parents who support their parent's party line. Did not ANYONE in their supposed illustrious higher ed schools teach them to think? Or perhaps they simply do not care and are Ayn Randian enough to parrot their parent's beliefs. What legacy do these Cretans want to leave to their posterity? Perhaps they care only for their own enrichment -- all for me and nothing for anyone else -- and some, perhaps, on a genetic level are missing the empathy gene as their parents clearly seem to be.
Maybe some of us have too much of that empathy gene and simply get depressed at the trajectory of a nation gone half monstrously mad with hate and wondering if ever there will be a sustained effort to implement the greatest good for the greatest number or are my and other progressives' efforts after decades of trying failing.
When I first saw two of the Trumpettes proudly with killing rifle in tote displaying the kill of a GORGEOUS tiger I knew what the substance of those men were and wondered how could they be loved by their mates or really by anyone. In short, I am STUMPED.
GET OUT TO VOTE FOR HILLARY CLINTON AS IF YOUR LIFE DEPENDS UPON IT BECAUSE IT DOES!!

Pray for Me
I am a news junkie. Even as much as politics interests me I am up to my earlobes in campaign swill. It began more than a year ago and saturated cable airwaves for ad infinitum months. It still is not over. The campaign is MUCH MUCH too long and MUCH too much oodles of cash is wasted on it. Every time I see Trump and every time I hear about email I want to throw a shoe at the tube. Trump is IMPOSSIBLE to listen to with his bluster, rudeness and lies. He lies ALL the time. I turn most of it off now and I might -- might -- pick just one of the debates to hear.
When Trump is blustering I mute my TV which covers him too much because I suppose some people want to listen to his volcanic eruptions with the malevolence they contain and that brings in network cash. Well, it does not bring cash to me but rather brings on a headache! Hillary is NOT on enough to add to the saturation. I wish she had come out more to refute the accusations levied at her which amount to NOTHING compared to the damage Republicans have done both to the economy and to the ruination of the Middle East. Moreover, they have obstructed Obama, an African American Democrat, at every turn. He could have accomplished much more if not for the disloyal Republican opposition and it is the eighth wonder of the world that he accomplished as much he did. If not obstructed she will accomplish more.
Hillary Clinton is CLEARLY by far and away more qualified than Trump. She will IF she can get more Congressional support create multi-faceted much needed change in our nation. I view Trump as dangerous to life and incapable of performing the most complex job on the planet. It is a job necessary to possess an encyclopedic knowledge of events and the ability to respond to them which Hillary has the capability to do. He has none of either. I surely hope Secretary Clinton wins BUT I am sick to death of the constant air wave blather promulgated over and over again by talking heads who often know nothing about which they speak. HELP I'm drowning in political quicksand! Pray for Hillary, VOTE her in November and by the way pray for me that I survive the onslaught to come.

A Man Who Cannot Drive
Truthfully, as Bernie Sanders said of Hillary Clinton's emails, "ENOUGH I'm sick of your damn emails." End of story but it isn't because the disloyal opposition wants to keep it alive as they think they can win by doing so. Revelation: They cannot and will not win. The electorate, I believe, at this point, since 2015 is sick to death of Hillary Clinton's email clearly political so called "scandal" to help the Republican cause whatever cause that cause may be.
It does, I think, present the question: Why oh why were Bush, Cheney and the gang given a free pass on so much mendacity? Their lies and decisions based on those lies to take a nation to war -- the Iraq War -- have cost hundreds of thousands of lives, millions of refugees and trillions in cash while it imbalanced and ruined a Middle East for generations. The devastating war in Syria bloomed out of the winds of the Iraq War as did Al Qaeda in Iraq and its vicious sidecar ISIS . Now, THAT war was a topic worthy of investigation by Congress but never got one. It could and should have resulted in a presidential impeachment. I suppose Republicons write up Articles of Impeachment only for Democratic presidential sexual faux pas.
The lies and preconceived notions of the Republican Bush administration that took a nation to war based on those lies for which we the people must still pay in precious blood and treasure is seared into history's memory if not the memory of the electorate forever. It truly boggles the mind that Cheney and Bush suffered no retribution and nothing was heard from Republican hypocrites except now against a Democrat when they know the presidency and even both houses of Congress could be at risk because of a mendacious, incompetent, rude and malevolent hypocrite Republican Presidential nominee Trump who cares nothing for this nation except what money he can squeeze out of it. It is as 2012 Republican Presidential nominee Romney stated and should be a title of a book about the insane 2016 campaign for US president -- "The Greatest Con Ever Sold."
Hillary's emails in question are nothing and did no harm in comparison to the greatest Republican committed foreign policy blunder in the history of this nation and one which carried with it the most profound generational consequences both here and around the world. We truly are fools if we get fooled again and give the car keys to another man who cannot drive.
