My Comment:  After you read this historical analysis of race in America, if you read it, stop and think on why our nation today is having convulsions over race and why our nation has become, especially on the right, so imbued with hate, cruelty and violence with laser focus on immigration. There are historical American roots of reasons for this. Think on the early authors mentioned by this historian and what they said about Eugenics and the movement of it that followed. Think then on films like Scorsese's "Gangs of New York" or D.W. Griffith's "Birth of a Nation" starring Lilian Gish.

Think on who composes this nation. The citizenry of this nation comes from every continent on earth; from western Europe, Eastern Europe, the Baltic, Russia, the Mediterranean, the Middle East, South America, North America, Asia, Africa, and Latin America. It is an amalgamation of gold leading to greatness.
