I have stopped crying out of happiness and now am cheering for the joy of Kamala Harris, Biden's pick for VP on the ticket. Watching clips of her in more frequency since she was chosen I realize what I did not before. I originally was a supporter of Susan Rice who seemed to me to have the gravitas and superb intellect needed for high office. However, I have changed my mind and now support Kamala Harris with the full force of my emotive strength. There is a reason I am, as an understatement, thrilled at Biden's choice.
Kamala Harris oozes charisma. Her smile is infectious and her laughter contagious. She is a necessary complement to Biden. The ticket is explosive now with enthusiasm which Kamala already has brought to the contest.
A friend of mine when asked by me how she felt about the choice. She said she thought Republican men were heading to the bathroom since they saw their demise. I say good. That is exactly where supporters of Trump belong so we can flush the poison down the toilet never to be heard from again!! Well, I can hope anyway.
This is the first time my depression has lifted over months perhaps even years. Maybe just maybe the scourge of Trump has met his Covid and charismatic Kamala match. Good luck VP Biden and Kamala Harris this progressive is with you both 100%
