Below is an interview of Jon Finer found on YouTube.  We in his extended family are very proud of our cousin. His great grandfather was my grandfather's brother. Had they not immigrated to this country so many of us in the second and third generation would not have been born. His great grandfather and my grandfather would have died in the Holocaust as the village they came from 40,000 was wiped out. I am sure he shares my opinion that had it not been for immigration our family would have been killed and Jon to me is proof positive of the greatness of this nation.

Through academic excellence a member of our family ends up in the White House in the Obama administration when it was a branch of government of which one could be proud. Nevertheless, we are proud of Jon's excellence and contribution to our nation.
