GREAT DOCUMENTARY TO RECOMMEND: JAMES BALDWIN'S NARRATION OF HIS DOCUMENTARY "I AM NOT YOUR NEGRO." This is a wonderful documentary depicting the history of the black man in this nation from the 1950's through the 1960's. Baldwin died in 1987.

This film surrounds the assassination of Medgar Evers, Malcolm X and Martin Luther King all three of whom were Baldwin's friends. It is a documentary that gives one especially an American an understanding as to what the black man's grievances are against this egregiously flawed nation with respect to its racist past and its most grievous actions against persons of color over the past 419 years. It gives one an understanding as to what all the protesting, screaming and destruction are all about.
