I am so chilled by this article (linked below). I cannot even write a strong enough post to show my complete disgust with the entire Republican Party that they would even think about doing such a thing that is probably illegal. Social Security is NOT an entitlement. It is something we PAID for out of the payroll tax when we worked. It is NOT there for Republicans to take.
Beyond
that don't they have seniors who depend on Social Security to live?
Democrats are not the only ones who are dependent on Social Security.
For the most part the entire nation depends upon it with the exception
of course of the top 2% wealthiest which is the Republican base. This is disgusting!
Flood Washington with calls and letters telling them not to do this! All of our lives depend upon Social Security and for that matter Medicare.
Perhaps an organized huge march on Congressional offices in Washington
showing how much opposition there is to this if Congress considers such
an abysmally destructive thing. Your life depends upon shouting huge
opposition to this. Pass this onto anyone you like.
