I
had never heard of an ODAL rune until I read the Twitter post saying
that the whole stage of the CPAC is in the shape of an "Odal rune." It
makes me sick.
What
makes me sicker is that one of the two major
parties in this nation is a home/safe haven to Nazi extremists once
relegated to the conservative fringes and this is okay
with Donald Dump? William F. Buckley threw the extremist right in the
form of the John Birch Society out of National Review and made no place
for them in the conservative movement. The American Nazi Party whose
leader was Lincoln Rockwell until he was assassinated
August 25, 1967 by his own fellow Nazi was absolutely
not welcomed by Buckley or Barry Goldwater for that matter. Times
have, indeed, changed. Nazis have found a place in the heart of Donald
Trump. He is so desperate for adulation that he will take it
from whatever extreme wants to bestow it from the right. This is
sickening. He will be speaking from that stage at CPAC tonight. I urge
you NOT to watch him.
