This was the first news I read this a.m. I am so sad. This man was a beacon for those of us who
call ourselves progressives. His loss leaves an empty space which I
hope will be filled by someone fitting to occupy the space which this
great man filled. We will miss you Rep. Cummings. Now you rest with the
other greats who tried to make this a fairer more perfect nation.
