In memory of Representative Rep. John Lewis

One by one those giants of the civil rights movement are ending their journey. It is up to us, the living, to pick up the baton and fight for what is moral and just and never give up. 

No matter how difficult it seems we must never give in to the forces of darkness and hate no matter how powerful the opposition is.  "The moral arc of the universe is long and it bends towards justice." It is said "Obama so loved the 1853 quote by Theodore Parker, Unitarian minister and abolitionist, that he had it woven into a rug in the Oval Office." Let's return that rug to the oval office which is being usurped by a would be dictator who is in truth weak, corrupt and evil personified. 

We must never forget John Lewis, Elijah Cummings, Martin Luther King and so many others of all races and nationalities who paint a portrait of this nation that is kind, fair, tolerant and good.
