Oppose and resist by any legal means necessary so called Nationalist Parties with whom the president says he identifies.   Know Hitler was a nationalist, Mussolini was a nationalist, Huey Long was a nationalist but called himself a populist.  The Republican Party is filled with right wing extremists who call themselves nationalists, populists and even American Nazis who were never given credence by that Party which accepted their vote before but pushed them off the unelectable cliff.

Now these extremists are given a seat at the Republican table and are accorded respectability by a president of questionable character.  Be careful of the news they sponsor.  Nationalism goes by seemingly friendly names like populist but whatever name is goes by it is decidedly dictatorially fascist and fascists have zero qualms about killing their adversaries.  They are mean, they are racist and they are violent.  Resist their onslaught and be careful whom you support.  Elections have consequences as we can see by the catastrophe this corrupt administration and his henchmen have unleashed upon us.  This must never happen again!

During Brazil’s election, Avaaz ran an experiment -- just six people were given basic training to investigate the propaganda networks, and they shut down online fake news factories that reached *16 million* people. Imagine what ten times as many could do!

With crunch elections in Europe, Canada, India and beyond just months away, we need to act fast. Chip in now -- if we raise enough, we’ll hire, train and deploy the most sophisticated teams of specialists to defend our democracies. Agree totally with Norma 100%. Every time I saw Kraft it made my blood boil to know he is a supporter of Drumpf. I am Jewish as is Kraft. I am Jewish in every pore of my being. I know my Jewish brethren have great empathy for the poor, the oppressed and have shown it often. They are serious and are committed to justice for those who have experienced little. Most are probably progressive as am I, and have committed much to civil rights causes. The civil rights murders of Schwerner, Goodman and Cheney in Mississippi in 1964 were exemplary of the fact that Jewish people in great numbers cared and still do care about human rights. They put their lives on the line for it.

Shame on Robert Kraft's lack of empathy that he could support 45's Nationalist Party which is known for its antiSemitism. Hitler was a Nationalist. Kraft does not represent me nor do I think most who share my ethnic grouping support him!

Trump is an ignorant know nothing who cares nothing for human suffering especially of those who were not blessed with the inheritance luck he was.  What is worse are the people who even believe for a second what the lying-all-the-time excuse for a president says.  Climate change does not only mean warming it means extremes in temperature both hot and cold. It means stronger, fiercer storms, fires, floods and many more of them.  Look around over the  past decade from massive fires, floods and hurricanes like Katrina, Sandy and so many others to a bazillion tornadoes even in times when and places where there usually are not tornadoes that eviscerate the lives of so many innocent human beings who do not have the resources to rebuild and end up on the street or dead. 

Climate change is worse for those who do not have the luck of their fathers leaving them a million or do not have the luck to be able to stiff people who work for them like Trump does or work the bankruptcy laws in his favor. 

In the end science rules and it matters not what know nothings say.  Science will do what science says it will do and if we pull out of climate agreements or do not address these ongoing catastrophes our planet eventually will die too.  98% of climate scientists say so.  The remaining 2% work for the fossil fuel companies whose greed fuels (pardon the pun) the largely man-made climate catastrophe.  Trump's regulatory roll back is a contributing sin and his denial of climate change is another.  It will, if left unchecked, mean the death of the planet too.

Trump got lucky in life and much to our peril and horror he did!

Stand in another's shoes

How did we get this bad? I am just sickened. Trump's presidency is worse than I ever could have imagined. People will die here that do not have to. What in God's name is in the marrow of Republicans' bones that they could do this over a wall that won't, as experts say, work anyway and is an eyesore for anyone traveling close to the southern border.

Can this racist sentiment to shut out brown people who are so threatened to die that they would make a 2000 mile journey on foot to a nation where so many hate them.   Can hate mean so much to a group that they will let innocent women and children die? I shake my head with incredulity.

How Christian is this? Again I say what profit a man if he gain the whole world but lose his soul. Meaning the essence of his being? Who are we as a people that we would let this happen?

Send this or send what protest you want to Republican senators in other states.  Simply Google Republican Senators then go to their Washington web site and plead with them to stop this.  McConnell could stop it and if he does not lives will be shutdown permanently.  What if you were one of those seeing asylum running from murderous gangs that would surely kill them?  Stand in another desperate man or woman's shoes.  It's not hard just try it.

F.B.I. Opened Inquiry Into Whether Trump Was Secretly Working on Behalf of Russia--A sewer of corruption

First time a president of the United States has been investigated by FBI counter intelligence for working on behalf of a foreign power, an adversarial nation Russia, and not only to get Trump elected president but to work on behalf of Russia against American interests. Can you spell treason, Benedict Arnold, or Manchurian Candidate? Not to brag but I called Trump the Manchurian Candidate when the Republican Party of nefarious actions nominated Putin's puppet. Do you think the Republican cockroaches are scurrying off the ship in search of a Decree Nisi (divorce) before they are besmirched by an investigation for treason? I suspect it is what Putin has on Trump. I am bowled over and yet I should not be as all of his outward signs during the campaign and after the election pointed to it. Imagine what the FBI has to corroborate these impending charges--tapes, emails, texts, wired conversations and, perhaps, so much more! Big surprise: the poisonous Trump is a sewer of corruption!

Jayme Closs Found Alive -- some good news in a sea of bad!

It is beyond belief that this young teenager, kidnapped in her own home October 15, had the will and the intelligence to figure out how to get away from the monster who kidnapped her and killed her parents. Kudos, of course, to law enforcement who kept the story alive and kept looking with their ever present professionalism. Thanks to the public for having Jayme's face etched in their minds so that when the time came the rescuers -- a woman walking her dog and a man and woman in their home -- knew who she was and brought this young battered woman to safety.

How important is it for those who own homes and/or have children to trust no one for whom to open their doors unless they are sure they know who it is. In Jayme's case this beast kicked in the door, shot her parents and kidnapped an adolescent. One can only do what is humanly possible.  We see every day in our weapon saturated society how important it is to transmit to your children never to go with anyone they do not know and the ones they do know are deemed trustworthy. I am sickened when I think of the violence this innocent young girl endured. I am afraid to listen to the entire story. I am nearly sure there existed indecent assault. I hope against hope this is not so.

The government shutdown because of Trump's desire, which changes depending on the second he exudes it, for a fake wall of lies costing cheap money not paid for by Mexico and will do nothing to stop the latest boogeyman from seeking the safety of asylum in a nation known for its diversity.  It is eminently important now to take one's safety into their own hands and be always vigilant. There is need for more attention to be paid by the general public to ensure their own welfare as, for example, TSA airport security call in sick because of a sick president's demand of a wall on the southern border experts say is not needed and will not work.

Jayme Closs gave us the good news an American public starving for some good news needed. Thank you, Jayme.  May her days from this moment be filled with moments of joy she so richly deserves, may the so called president suffer the loss for his border wall experts say is mendacious folly and may the government open up returning federal workers to jobs with pay that keep our nation safe.

Devolution

After Trump’s know nothing speech​ ​​last evening​, boring and full of untruths; after the latest proof of Manafort ​and ​others​'​ connection to conspiracy with Russia ​to ​throw the​ 2016 ​ election to Trump I have seen predictions of Trump's impending doom. I am not so sure. If progressives or even moderates controlled the Supreme Court I ​might​ believe it but now with ​progressive Justice Ginsburg fighting for her health God only knows what the unhappy fate of our nation could be. If the Court is in Trump’s pocket​, which I believe the "conservatives" on the Court are,​ they and only they could reverse the entire Mueller probe.

Mueller has Everest sized evidence ​against Trump and his administration ​that could take all of Trump and his henchmen ​down. Mueller's report​, if allowed to be seen,​ will be scathing but if ​the Supreme Court​ with Kavanaugh, Gorsuch, Thomas, Alito, ​and ​perhaps, Roberts ​have their way, we ​will be ​in a nightmare ​of devolution into yet another barbaric age. I ​am hard pressed ​​to see ​the end of this ode to fascism, Trump, an​​d ​his ​enablers ​experiencing the justice they so richly deserve​. ​A ​​conservative ​Court majority of zero humanity and human morality, Trump’s centerpiece, ​could​ ​act alone and ​give ​Trump ​​absolution. I​​​,​ the doubter of a Supreme Being pray to one nonetheless in hope that I am wrong. I pray to a God I do not know exists to save us from ​this​ human catastrophe ​that is ​Trump with his endless mountain of 17 investigations of crime that would fell any other oval office occupier.

Think of it: all those human beings ​walking thousands of miles seeking asylum from impending doom in their own country ​– women, children, the aged, the disabled, the sick held captive ​by Trump's insanity ​that condemns them to sleeping under foil or on the floor ​in the cold desert and two Hispanic children dead of sicknesses from which they did not have to die​.​ ​ T​hose​ in this Trump administration ​who represent our nation murdered them. Look at what ​the malevolent ​and always mendacious​Trump has done to our nation, to the world and to our overheated planet​ committing many crimes against humanity​​.  Worse, he keeps on doing it.​  The government shutdown for the expensive wall of no emergency is condemning hundreds of thousands to lives of hardship with no pay some of whom may die.  Moreover, those of nefarious intent can access airports more easily as TSA agents are calling in sick.  He must be stopped.​

Those innocent children held in captivity will be a lost generation​. If​ the better angels of our national conscience ​prevail they will be returning from another ​holocaust ​of a different age ​– dazed, confused ​and ​not knowing what to do​ scarred for life through no fault of their own.​​​

Evolution is a truth of science but devolution is a truth as well. Neanderthal man is alive and well sitting in the oval office of the people’s house ​where men of stature once sat Trump sits ​feet away from a nuclear winter that could cover us all.

SHUTDOWN PRESIDENT NARCISSIST SOCIOPATH

Mitch McConnell needs to be called out on his refusal to bring up the SIX bills that have already been passed by the house.

If the electorate gets pissed off enough which god almighty they should articles of impeachment will be filed.

This man is an existential threat to our nation, he is a threat to our markets and he is a global threat to the world.  There are thousands of federal workers either working for nothing or not getting paid and this mental midget is threatening that the Trump shutdown could do on for years. 

Garbage is piling up in our once beautiful parks, toilets are overflowing and people have died with no park rangers in sight.  Disease will come next because this gd border wall which is utterly unnecessary not to mention unethical the immoral of all immoral President Narcissist Sociopath has it in his sicko utterly inferior brain that he cannot hurt his base of about 25% of the electorate who are right wingnut extremist Nazis.
