The merger of AT&T and Direct TV brought me to Direct TV and AT&T's main page. I do not have Direct
TV nor AT&T but have been screaming for ages -- probably not
taken seriously -- that I cannot stand that the consumer has so few
choices and is at the mercy of the companies, few as they are, to give me
something I want. There are God knows how many channels for which I have no use. I want my own channels and I want a rate hugely cut because I do
not need 1/2 of what I am getting, the service stinks and they raise
prices to the stratosphere. GIVE THE CONSUMER CHOICE AT A FEE THAT DOES
NOT GOUGE AND GIVE US SPEED NOT JUST RESERVED FOR THOSE THAT ARE
BILLIONAIRES. It's as simple as that.
When as a kid I asked my mother why socialism wasn't good. She said because capitalism creates competition which creates quality. I have stuck by that but have seen an oligarchic reign of just a few as the 98% are left to drown. DO NOT DISAPPOINT ME all of you who shout capitalism's glories from the roof tops. Prove to me my mother was right enforce anti-trust laws!
DEMOCRATS ARE NOT PERFECT BUT IF YOU DO NOT WANT AN OLIGARCHY TO CONTINUE THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY PROGRESSIVES AND POPULISTS IN IT ARE THE ONLY ANSWER FOR US NOW. SO GET OUT THE DARN VOTE FOR DEMOCRATS EVERYWHERE AROUND THE NATION.
