A Stroke of Magic

Sometimes in my zeal to write an opinion quickly syntax suffers. Zealotry, too, should never prevail but passion sadly, at times, rules. Mea culpa; colloquially my bad! I wrote to the News later what I thought was a better constructed, more thoughtful but still rather humorous opinion about Chick-Fil-A in reality a serious-to-the-lives-of-many subject.

Lest the marriage equality deniers get anyone depressed here is a bit of levity. I agree with Mr. Boriskin's August 3, 2012 letters to the editor opinion in the "Metro West News." The mayors of the various cities who voiced their opposition to Chick-Fil-A did not deny these peddlers of hate anything. They too were simply voicing an opinion and stated as such albeit after they thought about First Amendment issues.

Just as the owner of Chick-Fil-A has the right to voice his opinion so do the various mayors who oppose Chick-Fil-A and, in reality did not stop it from selling its unhealthful wares.

It seems Chick-Fil-A is surviving just fine. Oh by the way for all the protesters of Chik-Fil-A spewing their hate fear not. These people who are chewing down Chick-Fil-A by the bag full of grease will be deceased or disabled in no time flat as Chick-Fil-STROKE works its magic.
