Excellent article linked below
on the importance of vaccines written by Tom Mountain the vice chair of the Massachusetts Republican State Committee. He
tells of his own debilitating experience getting COVID and waxes
incredulous as to those refusing the COVID vaccine today. He is
ebullient retelling vaccine history when infants and children were
vaccinated against diphtheria, measles and polio.
I am a strong vaccine advocate as well because I contracted polio at age 5 in 1954. I got it 6 months before the first vaccine for polio came
out. How much do I wish it had come out in time for me to get
vaccinated? There are no words for me to describe how much. Polio
paralysis is no joke. It is life long and sometimes even fatal. It is
often supremely debilitating and psychologically damaging. I accept all
vaccinations available from polio, to shingles to the flu and now especially for COVID. Why
there are those who reject it and worse make it a political decision in
line with Trump and his absurd mask refusal I will never know. This is supremely insane.
Do not be stupid. Vaccinate as if your life and the lives of those you love depend upon it because they do!!
