My letter to Senator Warren

Senator Warren:   I am one of your ardent supporters, worked and wrote letters for you in your election as senator. Whoever runs on the Democratic ticket this is what I believe is important on which Democrats should campaign because Trump will boast, gloat and generally become obnoxious touting his "great" economy. It is not great and that needs to be hammered home: Bret Stephens Op Ed for the NYT in part said:  "... an economy that continues to struggle with painfully slow wage growth, spiraling budget deficits and multiplying trade wars that have hurt businesses as diverse as Ohio soybean farmers and California chip makers" must be enunciated loud and clear. “What do Democrats stand for?” he asked. “Lawlessness or liberality? Policy making or virtue signaling? Gender-neutral pronouns and bathrooms or good jobs and higher wages?” I believe we must stand for everything that makes the Democratic Party humane and great. Most especially we need to realize "it's the economy stupid" that wins elections. Yes, don't forget that while we remember this lawless administration and a president who deserves impeachment and not reelection. Yes, remember it's the economy but do not forget so many other moral things on which Democrats can and should run!!

Stephens said: "As is his way, Mr. Trump wasted little time rubbing salt into Democratic wounds. “Democrats used to stand with the Working Man,” he tweeted Wednesday morning. “Now it’s the party of Abortion and Amnesty. All that’s missing is Acid. Sad!” Go get him, Democrats, by standing for something not just against Trump.

Tariffs and huge deficits Republican born and bred should make him and Republicans vulnerable! Do not lose this message but do not lose everything else as well!
