He thought about the fake breasts on his wife, so hot. What was he thinking? Sniffle brain had forgot.
When, what do you know, what should appear, But a "Nasty Old Woman" and what looked like a reindeer.

But it did not matter. The die was now cast.
America's present would not be like Germany's past.

Hillary went to the Oval Office to continue her work, and Drumpf got his Twitter back and remained a big jerk.
America took a deep breath and enjoyed the great fall. Get a good night's sleep and "Happy Election Day" to All !!!!

If the presidential election result is as I think it will be Hillary Rodham Clinton will be elected the 45th and first woman president of the United States making history.
If that is so my comment is brief and that is thank you, thank you and thank you again to our Hispanic, African American and the community of women for pulling this nation and, indeed, the world, from the precipice of Trumpian destruction. You who have suffered the arrows of so much hurt for so long a period of time are ironically the groups who will lead us again from the dark of night into the joy of light in the morning.
I stand with you -- the poor, the rejected, the downtrodden and the dispossessed because I am human and can empathize with those whose fate did not align with the stars of luck. As my hero Franklin D. Roosevelt said:

An Empty Room
Trump is a petulant child who in his youth needed not to be sent away to a cold military school but to have a father who cared more about loving his son then creating a money machine imparting values that valued over zealous discipline instead of love.
He was asked by someone yesterday what would make him happy and he said going around the country speaking in front of groups who love him. Sorry, Donald, that is not love. The love of an amorphous group of persons with whom you have no relationship is no match for the love a father that is so important especially to a male.
Though I am not a Christian I love many New Testament preaching like "What profit a man if he gain the whole world but lose his soul." Donald, you are a mean, cruel seemingly pathological narcissist who cares about no one but himself. You have no soul. You are surrounded by many people but you live in an empty room. Maybe there is a God who has spared this nation your terrible onslaught!

I'm waiting for Republicons to pull another dirty trick out of their slimy hat with one day to go before the election of Hillary Rodham Clinton to the presidency. I have no doubt they will think of something.
Every investigation of the Clintons by Republicans has failed every single time except it has not failed to spend hundreds of millions of taxpayer bucks by a Party that says it cares about frivolous government spending so much.
My vitriol against them goes against my natural grain. I do not like to fight, I do not like to get into hostile verbal exchanges but I believe if progressives do not, then a rancid universe of anti-science Republican policies benefiting the mega rich while spitting in the face of the poor, the sick, the minority, and the downtrodden's civil rights will ensue. If Republicans gain power their true allies, the very wealthiest 1%, will reap the benefits from their corrupt alliance with them.
I am not, I hope, by nature a mean person but they, I believe, force me to be something that I am not -- a vitriolic loather of right wingnut religious anti-science extremism into which the Republican Party has morphed. We must stop them every time they try to gain power or as sure as is the truth of Darwinian natural selection we will perish.
They have only themselves to blame for this Trumpian fiasco excuse for a campaign that has been created by using their own cannon to blast their Party into bits. Still, I am tapping my foot waiting for yet another waste of taxpayer money by them to advance their cause and make the wealthiest 1% even richer then they already are.

Hillary's email frenzy was the biggest abridgement of civil liberties since the infamous J. Edgar Hoover's pathetic career of secret phone taps and bugs on figures like MLK, JFK, RFK other Democrats and progressives.

The Chickens Come Home to Roost
If this beast Trump does not win, at some point his name will mean poison as now his 65 story Trump Tower in Toronto goes belly up. More Trump signs will be removed from buildings to which they were attached and he will not be able to sell his name to a Mafia don. Ultimately, he is such a rotten businessman running on bankruptcy and non payment of workers like a car that is running on fumes, he will lose his ill gotten gains because no one will lend him money since he does not in full pay back his debts. Would you?
After his resounding loss, which may, in fact, happen, the only one he will have in his corner is the KKK and the National Alliance f/k/a American Nazis. Good luck with that, Donald. Do you think they will spare a dime when you, god willing, end up on the street. Nope, they will be super angry with you! Have fun with that as non-violence is not a word in the right wingnut extremist's dictionary.
Oh yeah, by the way, is Melania going to be deported or jailed since she lied about her visa card as she allegedly initially entered this country and worked when she was NOT authorized to do so but said she was. That is a felony, I believe, and she can either have her citizenship taken away, end up in jail or be deported. The chickens come home to roost!

Latino voter turnout is skyrocketing, as Republicans are facing a rout with Latino voters thanks to Donald Trump.Gabriel Sanchez of Latino Decisions broke down numbers that paint the picture of a growing and energized Latino electorate that is out to stop Trump.
Sanchez told reporters in a conference call:
– Latino enthusiasm is up 10 points over 2012. 13.1-14.7 million Latinos estimated to vote. 71% of Latino voters said the election is very important.
– In 2012, Latino turnout was 48%. The projection for Latino turnout is projected to increase to 51%-53% for 2016.
– Early voting turnout with Latinos is increasing. Latino early vote in Florida is up 100% over 2012. The Latino early vote in North Carolina is up 60%. Latino early voting in Colorado and Nevada are up 20%. In Texas Latino early vote up 60% over 2012.
Latino enthusiasm is being driven by blocking Trump and increasing enthusiasm and support for Clinton.
Hillary Clinton has the most lopsided lead with Latino voters in history. Clinton is projected to beat Trump in 2016 by a margin of 80%-7%, with 3% of the vote going to third-party candidates. Clinton’s over Trump is higher than Obama’s lead over Romney. Clinton is dominating with Latino voters in all swing states. Hillary Clinton’s smallest lead is a 40% lead over Trump in FL.
Republicans warned in their autopsy report after the 2012 election that they needed to improve their performance with Latino voters or face even larger defeats in the future.
Instead of taking this advice to heart, Republican voters nominated the most anti-Latino presidential candidate in modern American electoral history.
Latinos are chronically underrepresented in the mainstream media and academic national polling, but what is shaping up in the detailed Latino polling is a complete bloodbath for Republicans.
The impact of Latino voters will be felt beyond the presidential race. Latino voters could swing several Senate seats to Democrats.
Republicans are about to pay a steep price for nominating Donald Trump and ignoring the lessons of 2012 as the rising political power of Latinos is about to flex its muscle for Hillary Clinton.

Trump, the useful idiot, plays right into the KGB savvy Putin's plans. Putin is NO dope but Trump, who really cares about one thing -- MONEY and the power he can derive from the Presidency to get more of it, is.
I was going to write an explanation of Trump's potential ruination of our NATO alliance and the handover of the Ukraine and Eastern Europe back to Putin so Putin's dreams of glory by retrieving the old Soviet empire that Russia lost when the Soviet empire fell can come true. Even nations in western Europe are spending sleepless nights worrying that Trump will win the presidency and their nations will ultimately devolve into a dystopian WWII-like nightmare or worse for their survival.
Trump loves Putin for different reasons having to do with his business connections in Russia than Putin loves Trump for empire building purposes through the destruction of NATO. They can use each other and gain gobs of money and oodles of power that is at the very heart of who they both are.

CONGRATULATIONS CUBBIES!!! It was too late for me to stay up to watch and stupid me I did not tape it like I meant to. So this a.m. first thing I checked and was SO happy to see the outcome. I can't believe it but this Boston fan is crying for the Chicago Cubbies. I love it when the underdog wins! The 108 year series curse of the goat is over for them. I can relate to the Boston curse of the Bambino. I am so happy for Chicago and yes probably it was the best World Series ever! WOW.
Finally something to cheer about in a presidential season that has had me crying NOT out of happiness but of supreme sadness for our nation having to go through the sick profanity of the worst presidential candidate in US history having at least 40% of our nation buy his con. Worse too is the profanity, race and other hatred, crudity, lewd verbiage, ignorance not to mention Drumpf's assault on SO many women that staggers my mind. Trump is the most unqualified cerebrally unfit human who has approached the sanctity of the oval office.
The greatest sadness for me is not his candidacy, though, but the fact that so many in the nation love the horrendously rude statements that come out of his mouth and that they hate so many who cannot help that they were born into a certain race, religion, sexual orientation and yes even with a handicap. Worse still is they are so violent harboring that hate. That hate threatens our nation to an extreme we have not seen since the 19th century Civil War.
I had two good things happen yesterday and one was the Cubbies win. A win for the presidency of Hillary Clinton would be, for me, the third. I hope, this time, I get lucky again!

FIVE REASONS NOT TO PANIC ABOUT HILLARY CLINTON RIGHT NOW
There are plenty of justifications for losing sleep ahead of Election Day. But five key indicators tell us Hillary Clinton is still the favorite to win.

Worry? Hell, yes, worry. A man who just got the official endorsement of the Ku Klux Klan is close to becoming president of the United States. If that doesn’t worry you—and if it doesn’t make Republicans finally and fully ashamed—then nothing will.
Hillary Clinton isn’t running against just that man. She’s running against the Kremlin—yeah, I know, our government just said that those hacking into our electoral process aren’t necessarily favoring a candidate, they’re just trying to make mischief; but it’s a funny thing, isn’t it, that they didn’t hack any Trump campaign email accounts.
She’s running against Julian Assange, who claims neutrality but obviously despises Clinton because she was secretary of State when WikiLeaks got started and she opposed what he was doing (in other words, because she was doing her job as the world’s most important diplomat).
She’s running against right-wing legislatures and governors and electoral black-arts operatives in a number of states who’ve done everything they legally could—and, as we’ll no doubt learn on Election Night, illegally, too—to keep black people, who will back her at a rate well north of 90 percent, from voting.
And she’s running against a rogue FBI director about whom more devastating information came out Wednesday morning. We now learn that the bureau refrained from issuing subpoenas over the summer in probes involving both the Clinton Foundation and Paul Manafort because it was too close to the election. But Oct. 28 wasn’t too close to the election for Jim Comey to try to derail Clinton’s campaign.
So yes, worry.
But don’t panic.
Clinton’s still the favorite, and there are reasons why. Here are five of them:
1. Early voting. Those going to the polls before Election Day tend to favor Democrats, in some states to such an extent that Clinton and down-ballot Democrats are building leads that may be close to insurmountable. The most striking example so far seems to be Nevada, where Clinton’s early-voting lead, says FiveThirtyEight, is enough that Trump would have to win by a huge margin on Election Day.
North Carolina is another state where Clinton has zoomed to an early-voting lead. Around 1.8 million people have already voted, out of a total 4.4 million expected to vote. The Upshot estimates that Clinton leads by 11 percentage points among those who’ve voted so far. If that’s accurate, again, Trump would have to over perform the polling by pretty huge margins to overcome that.
The news wasn’t as good from Florida, but one poll popped late last night showing Clinton with an 8 percentage-point lead among early voters, propelled by her getting 28 percent of early-voting Republicans. I don’t know. It doesn’t seem crazy that her GOP crossover vote in Florida would be higher than in most states—Florida has a lot of Jeb-like, country-club Republicans in places like Boca Raton and in the wealthier cities of the Suncoast. If that number is right, the race in Florida, and nationally, is a done deal. But of course we won’t know til Election Night.
One early-voting problem: Black turnout is low. This is probably because of the voter-disenfranchisement issues I cite above. The Clinton campaign and its surrogates will need to be sure that word circulates in black communities that states are trying to block them from exercising their right to vote against the man with the KKK endorsement. (The Trump campaign renounced this endorsement, which is lovely, considering he spent more than a year earning it).
2. The Electoral College math. It remains daunting for Trump as for any Republican. Unless something really weird happens, Clinton has 246 Electoral Votes she just shouldn’t lose (I’m counting Michigan and Wisconsin here, and Pennsylvania, but not Virginia, which is probably being generous to Trump). Trump has 180. Of course crazy things could happen. People are worried about voter suppression in Wisconsin, and Clinton will need a solid black turnout in Michigan. But just remember: Clinton can lose Florida, Ohio, North Carolina, Colorado, Arizona, and Iowa and still hit 270.
3. Latino turnout seems to be going through the roof. Hispanic voter-registration numbers spiked like crazy all through the spring and summer. And early signs are that Latino early-voting turnout is wild high. If the pattern holds on Election Day, it should make a difference in the obvious states: Florida, Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, and New Mexico. If you read “Florida” and are thinking “but Cubans,” bear in mind: In 2012, Obama and Romney split the Cuban vote roughly 50-50. Also the Cuban vote is about half the state’s Latino vote. The other half is mainly Puerto Rican. So Clinton should get half of the first half and 85 percent of the second half for an overall margin among Florida Latinos of about two-to-one.
4. Black turnout should spike on Election Day. Some states are making it as hard as they can for black people to vote, but there’s little evidence to suggest that means black voters just won’t bother. Black turnout has been increasing steadily with every presidential election in recent years. There will probably be some falloff because Barack Obama isn’t on the ballot, but experts like Ruy Teixeira think it will be small (or perhaps won’t happen at all). And if anything, Trump is going to do worse among black voters than even Romney, who got 5 percent.
Warning note here: If black turnout is heavy on Election Day itself, this will lead to really long lines, because in addition to early-voting suppression, these same states usually put far fewer voting machines in black neighborhoods than in white ones. This means people will be standing in lines well after the polls close. Under law, anyone who shows up before closing time has a right to vote, even if it takes three or however many more hours. This always involves court orders and the like. And this year, given Trump’s vicious rhetoric, it might involve violence. I hope the Clinton people and local leaders are ready for this in every way they need to be.
5. Ground game. Clinton hired campaign manager Robbie Mook basically to do this—run the most extensive and sophisticated ground game in presidential history. It seems as if a formidable machine is in place. And it seems as if the Trump campaign hasn’t built anything like the same kind of network.
If swing voters are put off by Clinton in these closing moments by what Jim Comey did, that makes pulling out the base voters all the more important. Again, we’ll have to wait until Election Night to see. But the Obama track record from 2008 and 2012 would suggest that the Democratic ground game—which at the local level will involve many of the same party and union and other activists who powered Obama’s operations—generally works as advertised. This was especially so in Florida, where, in polling, Obama was tied with or actually trailed Romney by a point or so on the morning of Election Day.
Feel better? You should. I do! But only a little. We’re in a dark place as a country, and strange things can happen in the dark, but the numbers tell us that a hell of a lot of them would have to happen for disaster to befall us.

She’s running against the Kremlin—yeah, I know, our government just said that those hacking into our electoral process aren’t necessarily favoring a candidate, they’re just trying to make mischief; but it’s a funny thing, isn’t it, that they didn’t hack any Trump campaign email accounts.
She’s running against Julian Assange, who claims neutrality but obviously despises Clinton because she was secretary of State when WikiLeaks got started and she opposed what he was doing (in other words, because she was doing her job as the world’s most important diplomat).
She’s running against right-wing legislatures and governors and electoral black-arts operatives in a number of states who’ve done everything they legally could—and, as we’ll no doubt learn on Election Night, illegally, too—to keep black people, who will back her at a rate well north of 90 percent, from voting.
And she’s running against a rogue FBI director about whom more devastating information came out Wednesday morning. We now learn that the bureau refrained from issuing subpoenas over the summer in probes involving both the Clinton Foundation and Paul Manafort because it was too close to the election. But Oct. 28 wasn’t too close to the election for Jim Comey to try to derail Clinton’s campaign.
So yes, worry.
But don’t panic.
Clinton’s still the favorite, and there are reasons why. Here are five of them:
1. Early voting. Those going to the polls before Election Day tend to favor Democrats, in some states to such an extent that Clinton and down-ballot Democrats are building leads that may be close to insurmountable. The most striking example so far seems to be Nevada, where Clinton’s early-voting lead, says FiveThirtyEight, is enough that Trump would have to win by a huge margin on Election Day.
North Carolina is another state where Clinton has zoomed to an early-voting lead. Around 1.8 million people have already voted, out of a total 4.4 million expected to vote. The Upshot estimates that Clinton leads by 11 percentage points among those who’ve voted so far. If that’s accurate, again, Trump would have to over perform the polling by pretty huge margins to overcome that.
The news wasn’t as good from Florida, but one poll popped late last night showing Clinton with an 8 percentage-point lead among early voters, propelled by her getting 28 percent of early-voting Republicans. I don’t know. It doesn’t seem crazy that her GOP crossover vote in Florida would be higher than in most states—Florida has a lot of Jeb-like, country-club Republicans in places like Boca Raton and in the wealthier cities of the Suncoast. If that number is right, the race in Florida, and nationally, is a done deal. But of course we won’t know til Election Night.
One early-voting problem: Black turnout is low. This is probably because of the voter-disenfranchisement issues I cite above. The Clinton campaign and its surrogates will need to be sure that word circulates in black communities that states are trying to block them from exercising their right to vote against the man with the KKK endorsement. (The Trump campaign renounced this endorsement, which is lovely, considering he spent more than a year earning it).
2. The Electoral College math. It remains daunting for Trump as for any Republican. Unless something really weird happens, Clinton has 246 Electoral Votes she just shouldn’t lose (I’m counting Michigan and Wisconsin here, and Pennsylvania, but not Virginia, which is probably being generous to Trump). Trump has 180. Of course crazy things could happen. People are worried about voter suppression in Wisconsin, and Clinton will need a solid black turnout in Michigan. But just remember: Clinton can lose Florida, Ohio, North Carolina, Colorado, Arizona, and Iowa and still hit 270.
3. Latino turnout seems to be going through the roof. Hispanic voter-registration numbers spiked like crazy all through the spring and summer. And early signs are that Latino early-voting turnout is wild high. If the pattern holds on Election Day, it should make a difference in the obvious states: Florida, Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, and New Mexico. If you read “Florida” and are thinking “but Cubans,” bear in mind: In 2012, Obama and Romney split the Cuban vote roughly 50-50. Also the Cuban vote is about half the state’s Latino vote. The other half is mainly Puerto Rican. So Clinton should get half of the first half and 85 percent of the second half for an overall margin among Florida Latinos of about two-to-one.
4. Black turnout should spike on Election Day. Some states are making it as hard as they can for black people to vote, but there’s little evidence to suggest that means black voters just won’t bother. Black turnout has been increasing steadily with every presidential election in recent years. There will probably be some falloff because Barack Obama isn’t on the ballot, but experts like Ruy Teixeira think it will be small (or perhaps won’t happen at all). And if anything, Trump is going to do worse among black voters than even Romney, who got 5 percent.
Warning note here: If black turnout is heavy on Election Day itself, this will lead to really long lines, because in addition to early-voting suppression, these same states usually put far fewer voting machines in black neighborhoods than in white ones. This means people will be standing in lines well after the polls close. Under law, anyone who shows up before closing time has a right to vote, even if it takes three or however many more hours. This always involves court orders and the like. And this year, given Trump’s vicious rhetoric, it might involve violence. I hope the Clinton people and local leaders are ready for this in every way they need to be.
5. Ground game. Clinton hired campaign manager Robbie Mook basically to do this—run the most extensive and sophisticated ground game in presidential history. It seems as if a formidable machine is in place. And it seems as if the Trump campaign hasn’t built anything like the same kind of network.
If swing voters are put off by Clinton in these closing moments by what Jim Comey did, that makes pulling out the base voters all the more important. Again, we’ll have to wait until Election Night to see. But the Obama track record from 2008 and 2012 would suggest that the Democratic ground game—which at the local level will involve many of the same party and union and other activists who powered Obama’s operations—generally works as advertised. This was especially so in Florida, where, in polling, Obama was tied with or actually trailed Romney by a point or so on the morning of Election Day.
Feel better? You should. I do! But only a little. We’re in a dark place as a country, and strange things can happen in the dark, but the numbers tell us that a hell of a lot of them would have to happen for disaster to befall us.

My Comment: Lloyd, I just happened on your opinion when perusing the Letters section of the Metrowest News. Significant kudos are in order for a wonderfully written piece on a very complex international issue about which I am sure 98% of the US population has not a clue to its context. That I can accept because 98% of the US population does not have to know about the Pacific rim alliances and political maneuverings BUT a president must know.
You are completely correct Donald the foreign affairs ignorant knows exactly zero about this and other multi-layered foreign policy issues. In fact, he knows next to zero about most issues except for the one or ten incongruous sentence(s) he knows he can use to get his know nothing base at his rallies to scream in ecstasy because they think they have found their messiah's easy answers to all national maladies.
As president foreign policy details that are necessary to know are mandatory. If Trump, god forbid, wins, I would venture to say he could not even find those areas on a map.
What in god's name does it say about a nation one half of whose populous chooses an ignorant, crude, lewd, blustering blabberer for its major party's presidential nominee? The nation would rather be transfixed on no scandal scandals of a presidential nominee who DOES know about the issue(s) of which you speak. It would rather, too, direct its attention to the sexual psychopathology of a candidate Trump who does not.
Trump is a clear and present danger to this nation as well as an embarrassment and a joke, albeit a serious one, to the rest of the world.

A DASTARDLY OVERREACH
I may be rethinking this latest extension of Hillary's email frenzy as the biggest abridgement of civil liberties since the infamous J. Edgar Hoover's pathetic career of secret phone taps and bugs on figures like MLK and other Democrats when in fact it was conservatives who decimated Constitutional requirement to safeguard a human being from government overreach. This will be I suspect now much ado about nothing and indeed Republican Comey's motives are suspect.
This is a man who is supposedly scrupulous in his legal behavior? I suspect he failed this test miserably. To dangle an explosive email out for the public to stare at 11 days until a president is elected and to throw a possible monkey wrench into the probable Democratic winner of the presidency is a dastardly act, Mr. Comey and one from which the Republic may not survive. The mails in question were Abadein's TO Secretary Clinton and therefore might be duplicates. Mr. Comey, either look at those emails from Abadein in record breakneck speed, give Hillary Clinton the civil rights she deserves and take pity on a nation blasted by Trumpian lies or withdraw your investigation. This is in one word insane!

My 2 cents on the latest [yawn] Wikileaks dump
The latest Wikileaks release (FUNNY HOW WIKILEAKS NEVER RELEASES ANYTHING ABOUT REPUBLICANS OR TRUMP) about Clinton Foundation money raised is just another one that will ultimately be addressed and then disappear into the mist. Why? Big surprise Foundations MUST raise money from large corporations.
When one is in a position to form a Foundation money must be raised for that Foundation. There is no other way to do it but to have surrogates go out and procure money from those multi-million dollar corporations which can afford it.
The Clinton Foundation is involved in [according to Wikileaks] the following:
Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI), Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) and CGI U, Clinton Climate Initiative (CCI), Clinton Development Initiative (CDI), The Alliance for a Healthier Generation, Clinton Health Matters Initiative (CHMI0, Disaster relief to name but a few.
It goes on to say the No Ceilings project In 2013, established a partnership between the foundation and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation to gather and study data on the progress of women and girls around the world since the United Nations Fourth World Conference on Women in Beijing in 1995. This is called "No Ceilings: The Full Participation Project" and many many more.
The Clinton Foundation has spent HUNDREDS of MILLIONS of dollars on charities to uplift those who need it around the globe. Nearly 90% of what it raises goes to the charities for which they procure the donations. There is no other way to do this but for connected people within that Foundation to raise that money from large corporations which also may include giving speeches. It's reality. Money does not just float into AIDS treatment or improvement of water or treatment of those with Zika virus or Ebola or find cures for a myriad of other diseases out of thin air. It is RAISED by people within the Foundation who do so from very large lucrative corporations which donate that money to improve lives of those who cannot afford to improve their own. In turn it improves the public face of those companies that give. That is the ONLY way money can be raised. Foundations raise money and large companies give their money to do good and also hope to see their own bottom line improve because it is positive for them to be seen as charitable entities.
FURTHER NO PAY TO PLAY has ever been proven against Secretary Clinton and none further has ever been proven that she used her position as Secretary of State for pay to play purposes. Period end of story.

Concede, Contest and Consent
Even though Hillary will probably win significantly and if she does any other sane Republican opposition would concede an election in a heart beat as is the American tradition it is different for Trump and his supporters who have no hearts. He will do anything to stick it to the nation he says he loves and better still he will do anything to hurt the Republican Party who has only itself to blame for this Frankenstein monster whom it created but who will kill it first.
In addition to the chasm in the Republican Party that has existed for quite some time there is another gum-up-the works tactic about which they must significantly worry. Rachel Maddow talked about a "Consent Decree" see http://www.msnbc.com/rachel-maddow-show in her video segment entitled "RNC in legal trouble over Trump call for poll-watchers."
Briefly, the Republicans are under a Consent Decree order from the court barring them from trolling the polls or "monitoring fraud" a/k/a "Poll Watchers" as they promote their preventing election fraud fraudulent agenda. The Consent Decree has been in effect since 1981 when Republicans "monitored" polls with phony ID's and signs to allegedly catch them in the act of committing election fraud. Who is them? Do they watch heavily Republican polls? Heck NO only those polls with a heavy African American and Democratic turnout. It is yet another voter suppression technique Republicons carry in their suppress-the-vote (the Democratic vote) democracy destroying and Republican election winning nuclear weaponry arsenal. Ironically, though fraud is rare, its business of fraudulent fraud catching is booming in Republican Gunsmoke land and those John Wayne Republicons are going to catch the bad guys -- only Democrats, of course.
Every time Drumpf tells his supporters to monitor the vote he is violating the 1981 Consent Decree ordering them to cease and desist from poll watching that is monitoring and intimidating black voters to suppress their vote i.e. the Democratic vote. If they violate this order, which I am sure they will, instead of it expiring in 2017 it will expire in 2025. Republicans want desperately for this Consent Decree to be removed but Trump is foiling their chances and the RNC is going berserk over it.
The threat is that the RNC will pull away from Trump and say to the court they are not connected to him. Just how they are going to do that I have no idea. Perhaps it is another trick in their bag of many tricks. BTW, Democrats have already filed a suit against the RNC because of new poll trolling attempts complete with green Pepe the Frog badges, a symbol now of white supremacy. I cannot wait to see how that goes down in Little House on Republican Land!

I KID YOU NOT
I am saturated and drowning in election Trumpian sludge that has waxed eternal. It is impossible to watch and hear Trump at his rallies spewing lies within them. They are a symphony of a never ending cacophonous sound. I cannot look at his orange face and his ugly combed over hair one more time. The look of him is a metaphor for the essence of his being. He is on the inside as ugly and repulsive as he is at a glance. How many lies can one hear, how much verbiage of hate, redundancy of vituperative racist comments in constant the-game-is-rigged blabbing of media mendacity whipping his base into a potentially violent frenzy until one says I'm not going to take it any more? I simply turn him off or mute the sound when he is on.
I can only hope a majority of our electorate is smarter than the Republican base who incredulously elected him to be their nation's presidential contender from a major Party and present this disgrace to the world. I hope the majority of our electorate sees this con man, carnival barker buffoon for what he is -- a narcissist personality disordered human, hate filled liar saturated with the venom of an asp doing all of this not to gain the presidency but so he will gain the constant adulation he seeks in the crowds he can hypnotically convene and, while he is at it, create a cable network with his name on it.
Imagine a man who cozies up to white supremacists and the cross burning life extinguishing KKK while disparaging Hispanics, Muslims, Jews, women, the disabled, captured military and others for nothing more than to gain attention. He most likely cannot believe that he made it this far. The risk of his walking into the oval office is a clear and present danger. Never think it is not.
I strongly urge Hillary supporters and others everywhere to vote for her and vote early if you can. If you cannot stomach a minute more of the conspiracy laden constancy of Trump's lies or the brutality of his sexual assault on women stomach whatever it takes and for how long it may take to vote for her while you vote Democratic down ticket as well.
VOTE AND GET OUT THE VOTE FOR HILLARY RODHAM CLINTON. THIS IS ESPECIALLY IMPORTANT FOR PERSONS OF COLOR, HISPANICS, THE DISABLED, WOMEN, LGBT AND OTHERS EVERYWHERE. Tom Hayden, a leader of the civil rights and antiwar movements in the 1960s who later became a California lawmaker, has died
I remember Tom Hayden so well from the late 1960's, a time when I shaped my political left-of-center ideals. I loved the movements for civil rights as well as the anti war movements of that era but I never became as radical as the activist left then. Still, my sympathies lay with their progressive ideals.
I, in truth, miss that time more than I can say as it provided me with a sense of humane purpose and infused life with an abundance of meaning. We were going to change the world for the better. I was young then and had much hope only to see the succeeding years fail to deliver many of the ideals I held. Highway to Heaven
Clinton is on the highway to the White House. To those who question any part of the Clinton Foundation I have this to say as one blogger did: This is how charities operate, you schmooze with them and they donate. Giving speeches to help the less fortunate is not wrong.(87 percent of Clinton foundation money is spent on actual charitable works)
I say: Yes, and she did not use the money to buy a 12 foot painting of herself! Clinton's taxes unlike Trump's forever faux audit tax excuse are out for all to see. Clinton is NOT stupid, she's an attorney and has the BEST campaign support on planet earth. No one is going to risk the insane inanities and flagrant ethics abuses if not allegedly illegal behaviors of Mr. Trump. YET ANOTHER REASON I AM PRO CHOICE
HER NAME WAS SUSAN
A recent diary posted at dKos discussed the remembrances of an old ER doctor in dealing with abortion before Roe v. Wade. That diary had a profound effect on me and forced me to relive an experience from my own medical school days more than 50 years ago.
Her name was Susan. She was young. She was beautiful. She was intelligent. She was articulate. She was dying…
Susan was a 23 year old single woman who came to Los Angeles in the early 60’s to pursue her dream to become an actress. She had played the leads in her high school plays somewhere in Utah. She was runner-up in the Miss Utah pageant. She managed to get a couple of walk-on parts in some B-grade Hollywood films. She was a starlet.
A year or so after coming to the West Coast she became pregnant. The father quickly faded away into faceless LA. Her good Christian parents were humiliated, outraged and wanted nothing to do with her. She was on her own. Broke. Friendless. Pregnant. Scared.
So she took the bus to San Diego, walked across the border and headed to a cheap, dirty Tijuana abortion clinic. Four hours later she was back on the other side of the border, in pain, bleeding and completely debased. By the next day, the pain had become unbearable and she was spiking a temperature. She went to a local emergency room and was hospitalized overnight at St. John’s Hospital in Santa Monica. She was subsequently transferred to the Medicine unit at UCLA Medical Center, at that time a small teaching hospital in its embryonic stages.
I was a 3rd year medical student in my first clinical rotation at UCLA. Susan was one of my first patients. We were about the same age. I was embarking on my medical career. Her life was ending
Over the next three weeks, I learned how people die from sepsis. Her uterus was perforated. She had developed gram-negative septicemia. Our knowledge of and access to antibiotics was primitive and limited. Eventually she went into renal failure. She burned with fever. She was racked with abdominal pain. The lovely face become sallow, sparkling eyes sunken, lifeless. Her skin turned a sickly bronze color. Her breath reeked the pungent stench of ammonia. After weeks of agony, her frail body mercifully surrendered.
As I recollect these painful images of my brief encounter with Susan, the most outrageous aspect of this experience is not even the way she died. It is that she died alone. During those three weeks, she never had a visitor. There was no boyfriend - he was off to other conquests. There were no parents - they disowned her in shame and embarrassment.
Even worse was the mindset of the medical staff. While she was given the requisite care, there was little, if any, sympathy or compassion for this young woman or her situation. There was always the profound sense that “she brought this on herself,” that she was, in the final analysis, just an unfortunate tramp - Even As She Lay Dying.
It is now 50 years later and I still carry this burden of shame for myself, my colleagues, my society, my country. And to this day, whenever the subject of Roe v Wade comes up, whenever I see and hear the holier-than-thou religious fanatics trying to take away the rights of a woman to control her own body, to make her own choices, to force her into the back alleys of Tijuana, I can still smell the stench of ammonia in the air.

It was a good, even humorous, response but in truth there is nothing funny about this longest hatred or any race hatred. Being Jewish and old enough I know they, the Jew haters, are SURELY out there. WHY I AM PRO CHOICE
The following is a public posting of a woman who had the heart wrenching experience of a late term abortion. It is exactly why I am a fierce advocate for choice specifically because of people like she. I thank her for sharing her very personal experience and allowing it to go public as the reality of abortion, most especially a late term one, is NEVER as the anti-choice rightwing religious fanatics say it is and as Trump described it in woefully ignorant fashion for political expediency to court Evangelicals watching the debate last night. Abortion, in this case a late term one, is usually fraught with the difficult emotions she had to endure and late term abortions usually accompany a medical lifesaving emergency that necessitated it. Others should bear witness to her story. This is from a women in Utah, who happens to be Mormon. In my opinion her story MUST be told and is told in her words she wants others to share. Her story is as follows:
"I HAD A LATE TERM ABORTION. IT IS NOTHING LIKE DESCRIBED BY TRUMP. PLEASE DON'T BASE YOUR VOTE ON THE FEAR MONGERING HE IS DOING. PLEASE READ MY EXPERIENCE:
I had to have a late term abortion. It was the worst moment in my life. What made it even worse was the State of Utah had made it illegal. I had one dead twin. The other had severe Spina Bifida, and would only have lived with life support, in great pain, for a few days.
I lay on the hospital floor, bawling hysterically, for twelve hours, waiting for an ethics committee of the health care corporation to decide my case justified what had to be done. My health was in danger due to the dead fetus. My husband and I consulted our LDS Bishop, who assured me I needed to do what I had to do, that it was even within LDS guidelines to do so. He reminded me I had six kids at home who needed their mother to live.
The abortion was terrible. It was done very gently, by Caesarean section, leaving the babies in their amniotic sacs. The living baby passed very quickly.
It was horrific. I think it even affected my dear physician, as he had never had to end a pregnancy before. I developed PTSD for which I had to be treated for years, mostly because of the fact I had to have it at all.
No woman should have to have the state have a say in the most painful decision she will ever make. Nobody is tearing babies apart in late term. They are always humanely done, only in situations where there is a non-viable or severely defective fetus and/or the mother's health is at risk.
Please don't vote for a candidate or a party that would make these decisions for the women who will die or be forced to carry unviable fetuses to term. This is a decision that is so painful and so terrible. Only the parents of the baby and a physician should be involved in the decision."

Yes, the presidency is the most important office in the
nation and, one can make a case, even for the world since our powerful

Yes, those who critically analyze Hillary Clinton's candidacy have a right to their opinion and, indeed, I will never say any candidate is perfect. The ever so contentious emails have been litigated endlessly both by the FBI and the Republican controlled Congress. The FBI made the correct decision not to prosecute as there was absolutely no nefarious intent by her. She held up under withering onslaught that would have felled many but she endured and showed Trump's lack of stamina accusation of her to be false. Further, she apologized (more than Trump would ever do for his never ending lies,alleged unethical and even criminal actions.) Benghazi was masticated beyond recognition. In the end it was NOT her fault and admitted by the then Republican Majority Whip Kevin McCarthy done to electorally discredit her. Requests were made to enhance security in Benghazi but were rejected by a Republican Congress of no. Hillary is NOT responsible for every blessed thing that goes awry in an administration. No administration can be policy perfect every time and the Middle East was fractured a long time ago under a Republican administration. The repair of it will be generational if it will occur at all. Yesterday, it seemed as if he would blame her for a rainy day. Trump's look was, well, I will say it, Un-American. The Mussolinian Trump could not manage even one smile as he gulped water to moisten his dry seemingly nervous mouth.
There is not enough time within a debate to play "This is your Trumpian So Called Life." I am sure there was a lie counter and fact checker last evening. Trump never fails to lose a debate as he drowns himself in wheezes, lies and unethical business practices. Trump is a loser in business bankruptcies galore, a loser in a "charitable" Foundation to which little charity was given except to the charity named Trump and most of all, he is a loser in character. The man has none just ask the women whom he sexually harassed. There is not only the evidence of those claims of abuse by the woman themselves but those who knew about it after its happening and came forth to report it to the media. The Billy Bush tape of Trump's admission to his love of groping women's genitals and kissing women on the mouth all without consent because as he stated "they let you do it" was simply the vehicle that put one nail in his electoral coffin. It was nailed shut by his own words refusing to accept the validation of the American electoral process if it went against him. It was a rejection of the heart of the democracy upon which the Republic itself stands. His presidential aspirations died in that moment.

The Billy Bush tape of Trump's admission to his love of groping women's genitals and kissing women on the mouth all without consent because as he stated "they let you do it" was simply the vehicle that put one nail in his electoral coffin. It was nailed shut by his own words refusing to accept the validation of the American electoral process if it went against him. It was a rejection of the heart of the democracy upon which the Republic itself stands. His presidential aspirations died in that moment.

Trump resoundingly lost the third and last debate and took his electoral chances with it. As a friend so accurately assessed, since yesterday was my birthday, Hillary delivered the best birthday present of all to me -- the 2016 electoral win. That is my final answer.

FULL FAITH AND CREDIT
Trump is ramping up his know nothing
base claiming the GOP, the Democrats and Hillary Clinton are rigging his near
certain loss for president. There is, he says, an international banking
conspiracy to do so. Where is the
evidence? As in the president's foreign place of birth he still questions even
now despite his tersely weak statement saying otherwise, he has none. Seldom does he say most things with proof.
In Trump's world truth matters not but the eternal lies he tells are infinite and
accepted by his followers without question. This minority threatens to
overthrow our government if Hillary is elected, arrest her and summarily
execute her. Vandals firebombed Republican
headquarters in North Carolina. It was Democrats who gave $12,000 to rebuilt it. Who are the real patriots?
Trump has no one to blame but himself urging his adherents
on to a fevered pitch threatening to never accept the electoral outcome of the
2016 presidential election. The protestation offshoot of this is right wing
extremist violence. In the end the GOP created the monster Trump and he has spawned
the fascists who compose his ranks.
Trump’s minions are warned not to threaten violent overthrow
of the government unless they do not mind dying at the hands of the army, National
Guard and other forces the US has in its arsenal to defend itself from sedition
something so alien to all we know as a modern nation.
I reject most all Republican policies but I accept, when
necessary, Republicans’ elevation to power. Verbally and in written word I
protest their policies and hope for change. Sometimes I get it and sometimes not. I accept it even if unhappily so. The full faith and credit of the American
government will not be destroyed. A rational democracy must be our way of life
to survive as a people, it is the American way and it will be the radicals' way whether
they like it or not!

The Hope
The political arena is explosive. I and am sure you are
so tired of listening to anyone about it anymore but it is like a bad
accident -- I cannot look at it and I cannot look away. We have only two
weeks left. Either we elect a sane woman with excellent credentials
who has, I believe, the most valid academic and professional experience
to lead us the most powerful nation on earth or we plunge our nation, perhaps, into civil war with global
consequences as a psychopath will be entrusted with an arsenal of
nuclear bombs and other weapons of mass destruction.
This psychopath knows how to dupe the masses. I loathe political comparisons to Hitler but the Trump phenomenon makes this appropriate comparison necessary to evoke. His Hitlerian tactics, like the Hitler rallies at Nuremberg (1923-1938), are staggering. It defies credulity that Trump gets as much support as he does BUT his opposition has more IF we vote. I know why it is said and he is alleged to have a book of Hitler's speeches by his bed. That is, for me, believable.
Please, please, please, tell everyone you know to reject the charlatan Fascist-like liar and sexual predator proven to be so over and over and over again. The women who have stepped up to tell the truth about him are, perhaps, the bravest of all putting themselves at great risk. The groups driving Trump's "campaign" trying to capture his deplorable base are the most virulent panoply of rightwing extremists and shock jock conspiratorialist crackpots ever assembled. Those who are in love with the NRA and follow Trump are capable of great violence toting the assault rifles they say they love so much.
Trump offers, as his defense of his bestial behavior against women, nothing but lies. He denies them but video tells the truth. His no policy policies are buttressed with the old Protocols of the Elders of Zion antiSemitic canards long debunked as pre-revolutionary Tsarist Russian propaganda that has plagued the Jewish people throughout history culminating in the Holocaust killing of the 6 million. Trump is a Fascist-like demagogue who will bring chaos to our nation and nations around the globe if he ever gets to the White House which I believe he, IF WE VOTE, will not. He insults Muslims and Jews, Gold Star parents, judges, persons of color, Hispanics, women, the disabled and many more. We have ALL heard the proof for ourselves running 24/7 on cable news and we have seen videotape of his rallies that are infused with lie after lie after lie. He simply cannot tell the truth and he simply must not win.

I cannot prove it but I just know it's true

I will leave it to others to finally get the truth out. I cannot prove this yet but I just know it's true: There is collusion between Trump and Russian hacking. Some emails are not as they were written deducing someone trying to reprint them and doing so incorrectly. The technology map leads DIRECTLY to Russia of that there is surety no matter how the LYING BEAST tries to spin it. No one can believe one thing that orange faced gorilla says!

The Book of Life
Today, for the Jewish people, is the holiest most meaningful day of the year. It is a day asking forgiveness for those vows we have broken, an erasure of our past transgressions and a promise to do better in the coming year so that we may be inscribed for another year in the book of life.
