I concentrate on New Testament thought because Trump says
 he is a Christian.  When one thinks on Christian verse, taken from
various online sites, Trump falls woefully short.
When asked his favorite Bible verse Trump said that was
 too personal to answer. That was too personal to answer because he has never read
any and knows nothing of its thought:
Jesus said "What
 profit a man if he gain the whole world but lose his soul (Mark 8:36);
or "Inasmuch
 as you have done it to the least of these my brethren you have done it
unto me" (Matthew 25:40); or “many who are first will be last, and many who are
last will
 be first” (Matthew 19:30); “Woe to you who are rich!” Luke (6:24); "
 it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a
rich person to enter the kingdom of God.”(Matthew 19:24).Most importantly Jesus goes on to say: "For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me,  I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me."
In the Beatitudes Christ says: "Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven" ; "Blessed are they who mourn, for they shall be comforted"; "Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth"; "Blessed are they who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied"; "Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy"; "Blessed are the pure of heart, for they shall see God"; "Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called children of God"; "Blessed are they who are persecuted for the sake of righteousness, for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven."

To which of these verses does Trump adhere? Answer: None. He is the antithesis of them all!
